    I don't think I hate it.
I thought health was a personal decision, but as the collective covers more expenses for the healthcare of the individual, so comes the collective nosing in on individual decisions. Charlie Gard is a good example of this.

I don't have anything against the look of the Gen2/3s whichever is less bubbly. They're just too fat. Interiors are clunky. Colors are mostly nice, RIP orange. Where's the Tundrasaurus edition tho?

I'd like to see a remade Gen 1s with the 5.7L, slightly more aggressive grill, and a roll down back window on every model. Then they could do a TT Raptor chomper...

Nope. Just wait for the weekend after next. Then it'll spike again for the summer travel.

    Preach, brother.

So close. If only it were an AC instead of a DC.

That doghouse is an aberration and should have been aborted early in development. All that work to fit huge tires and then someone adds 2' to the front of body undoing all the gained approach angle...on top of being epicly hideous.

Different strokes, I suppose. I'm a one vehicle guy, so I like having the added cab space. I have a trailer if I need more utility. :)

I keep considering taking the jumpseats out of my AC to 100% guarantee no one ever rides back there.
    The 911 has 2 seats.
    I don't often drive Kelly's A3.
    Backseat passengers are the worst.

Some of my friends have kids, so there has to be room for them, too. Can't just put them in the bed and tell them to hold one like when I was a kid.

Turtle wax chrome polish doesnt disappoint. Mufflers never been rubbed on with anything, and 3minutes made a big difference.

i usually prefer the oily wadding like neverdull, but i dont usually polish on things that neglected.

We have a OG stand up freezer, It’s only let us down one time; day of a long road trip, notice moisture coming out of the door, compressor is running but fan motor isn’t, take a peep and see a little lizard tried to do the leap of faith, and didn’t make it! Pulled the body out of the fan and it started right up and started to cool down!
My bro in law wants to give us his newer stand up freezer, at first I was like sweet then I can get rid of ol Bertie. Then I started to think about it, no, no that’s a bad decision to get rid of her!

My grandparents had a 1940s fridge. Most inefficient beast you ever saw but those ones will outlive your grandkids.

Only downside is needing an ice pick since there was no defrost.

I wonder what the real environmental impact is of all these super "green" freezers that last 9 years, vs a 70's model that just keeps on going. I have a feeling we're doing it wrong.

No defrost means no freezer burn. Your frozen bits actually last longer as they're not heat cycled at all.

I get that feeling a lot...about a great many things.

On the same note, a nation full of repairmen seems a lot better than a bunch of trash producers.

Freezer burn mostly happens when things dehydrate; un covered or unsealed.
And during defrost, the goal is to defrost the coil not the product, so most all defrosts have a fan delay that shuts the fan off when defrost starts, and won’t let the fan come back on until the coil is under 30degrees; thus minimizing any actual defrosting of any product inside.

My fridge from the 80s recently died (IMO) last year since it couldn’t keep temperature.

I don’t mind that I replaced it but I question whether it could have been fixed since I tossed it. The seals would obviously need to be replaced.

I don't think the lines work well. First gen body is rounded and sleek. 2nd/2.5 gen have a lot of sharp angles. That nose looks too flat as well, like it ran into a wall (says the pug owner). It doesn't mesh well to me. I have seen newer Tundra on newer Taco and that works.

This approach works awesome for first gen Tacos that run first gen Tundra body parts.

I'm partial to pre-comas that have a 1st gen front end, 2.5 gen paint job, and an LS1.
