Every family has a retarded cousin everybody loves. Just make sure the position is open before you apply.

Jokes aside, as long as you don't impede traffic, do what you want with your money/truck.

Do you guys ever feel like you're Bill Murray in Groundhog Day? I feel that way at work. I have the same conversation with the same people every week, nothing get done, and then we repeat it the next week.

I think a full tilt minitruck might hit some of the nosalgia buttons. Just wait until ford comes out with the dancing bed in 2030 and chevrolet makes one that dances better, but breaks right after the warranty runs out in 2031. Dodge will do a factory dump bed in 2032 but the transmissions will still be garbage. And rolling coal will be a filter on your rearview mirror. Toyota makes a transformer bed that turns it into a suv. But its built on a corolla chassis. And nissan cant sell cars to poor people because they’ll be exterminated, so builds cvt’s for everyone. And those are a worse dumpster fire than the fiats.

but the chinese will rent you a scooter per mile.
and the built in fit bit will let nike charge per step.

Anyone have luck with electric pressure washers? My last gas powered unit gave me so much trouble I'm trying to avoid another one. I always used ethanol free gas and it didn't matter.

My harbor freight lasted a season, but a solid 100 hours. It siezed after we moved here into hard water.

I have a cheap one. I am not sure what brand it is. I think home depot sells it. I have been pretty happy with it. It is weak but it does the job. I don't use it a lot and I don't expect it to hold up. I will look for a quality US made electric pressure washer when this one is no longer repairable. I think that will be the last pressure washer I ever need. I hate dealing with gas on infrequently used power tools.

That Nissan is pretty rad. I still enjoy a tastefully done mini. Seeing that made me miss the joys of mini trucks. When you park and drop it and somebody thinks your truck just broke is always funny. Or parking next to a curb and dropping it so that your passenger can't open their door. Or going to raise your truck so you can drive and leaning your line ruptured and you can't lift it.

In other news, for a recent work trip I drove our newish 20’ F-150 with the 5.0 about 300 mi round trip. I didn’t want to be early so I set the cruise at 70. This thing got 19.x mpg.

My meeting ran a little late so I hoofed it between 75 and 77 on the way back. 12.x something on the return trip.

Moral of the story: if you want to be green, slow down.

I am in the market for a pressure washer as well. I just assumed that the gas powered would be better and having a very long driveway, I think running an extension cord for that length would be a pain in the rear.

I best internet research this more...

the dilemma is new bags are gonna run $571 for parts. The oems made it 14 years and 227k miles. But then I take the risk of the sensors and compressors going out.

coil swap is gonna run me $295 for swap kit, $220 for coils, and then some kinda of shocks.

*might need to flip a coin for this decision :bananadead:

I concur. I had an 88 dodge ram 50 in high school I wanted to lower. My buddy had a Mazda he lowered and man, I was jealous. I love seeing lowered minis, but they're getting pretty rare. It's all full sized trucks dropped now that look like shit.

    I had a D50 too!

Mine was 86, two tone black with "used to be bronze but now its 'poop after too much beer' brown". I was going to bag it but it had more problems than I could handle at the time and I sold it prematurely.

I used to drive my drinking buddys bagged 91 Toy all the time. It was fun but always felt sketchy, no shocks just bags so it was really bouncy. Gas tank ratchet strapped into the bed. We make the best decision when we are young.

In our group of friends there was another bagged 89 Toy, a 91 S10, a Mazda B2200 with the roof chopped off, and a crazy project that never left the driveway- an 89 extra cab Toy body on a single cab short bed frame. All these trucks were home built bagged death traps with tacky interior, gaudy wheels, and crappy primer paint jobs way before matte paint was cool.

I always say it but I really think Toyota should bring a small truck back in the game. There is a market for them, to any nay-sayers look at how expensive the old ones are.
