In 10 years I think people will really wonder why Toyota made a Tacoma into a less spacious first gen tundra and made the tundra into a real 1/2 ton.

If it weren't for the established and recognized brand
One of the reasons I wish I had a hand operated parking brake. Not much to damage on the side/bed area of the truck. There was a time I was good enough to do such shenanigans too. Foot brakes have made me reliant on the limited slip and torque.

Got the sequoia back today.... get to call them tomorrow and ask why the rear air suspension isn’t airing up.

my guess is when they did the full vehicle inspection they adjusted the ride height control back to stock instead of where it was at to match the leveling kit

Truck runs amazing, smooth as silk. Minor inconvenience with rear suspension deal, hopefully it’s an easy fix.

Good chance the bags leaked down from not being driven for a bit, now it’ll never want to fill again because it’ll exaggerate a leak

what’s the fix for it? Is there like a reset or something?

it’s always aired down to what’s I assumed was stock height but when you start it raises up to match the leveling kit.

Wow. Even rental car prices are going up. I reserved a full size car to go to the lake on Father's day weekend. $461. An economy rental was $430. I usually get a standard suv for around tree fiddy or so, it was about 550 now. Wtf is going on here?

Rental car companies make more money off selling their used cars than they do by renting them out (Enterprise at least). They likely downsized last year when rentals were down due to lack of travel and car accidents, and they've like not been able to replenish stocks faster than they're selling their current inventory.

Also these companies generally don't keep many of the economy models on hand as they don't make much off them when they sell. Those prices are just used to get you in the door, and if they're all reserved already they'll move the prices up to match the bigger models so you go ahead and spend the bit of extra cash.

All this plus, it's really one of the first holiday-esque weekend since a large portion of the population has been immunized. So they're going out. This concludes my Ted Talk.

So anyways, yesterday was a typical Monday. Murphy came to stay, and he fucked up anything, and everything.

Today is mend day. I pulled the pull cord out of my shop light when I stubbed my toes, and turned the light on at the same time.

Mended it today. Originally riveted together. Now it's got dry wall anchors because it's non-conductive, and easily removed later when I pull the cord out again.

I honestly could not care less what this looks like because it hangs 6 inches off the ceiling.

Pull cord was free.99 from work.

    Tired of ole Murphy.

We could see this coming a mile away. The sad part is this is a crisis that won’t go unused against us for the greater good.

I got mocked last year for talking about Social Credítz, Battery Power getting shoved down our throats, higher gas prices, and Shadow Banning.

You watch. The Battery thing will happen so fast your head will spin. Heres how it will go... You’ll be given special credítz for a battery car. ‘Oh look honey’. Those that have well maintained older cars will be taxed to ‘offset’ the oh honeys.

Thats how it works. It won’t be sold that way, though. They’ll use the ‘Saving the Earth’ to do that. Meanwhile, we’re digging holes in mountains to extract the battery contents and still powering those using fossil fuel. Another industry formed for the tax base! Better than the Mafioso.

Doom and gloom aside, I do think prices will settle down after a while as things start to return to normal. Some of this is simple supply and demand. Right now people are starting to spend money they have been sitting on for over a year. I bet consumer spending this summer will be monumental. It might take supply a while to catch up(ammo, car rentals, gas etc).

The illusion of "Green" is all most people really want.

Research shows Americans drive 13,474 miles a year. At 30 MPG that is 450 gallons a year. At $2 a gallon that person pays $900 in fuel. At $4.50 that person pays $2000 in fuel. The will hit 83% of all Americans. This "tax" was advertised before hand.
