    I love this.

I had a job where the clients were Maskers. I wore mine into our first meeting as it was our first job with them. A few weeks later I showed up to to their home to work and asked since the task was in the garage that I kindly not have to wear one as it was nice/hot weather and I’m not all up on them. They say sure no problem!

So I’m out working in their garage all day and they decide multiple times to get all up close with me without their masks! I’m like, hey! (in my mind). I never liked Face Talkers in my business prior to ‘Scary Virus‘ anyways.

I’ve other similar stories that make no sense, but those are for another day.

Your Wrencher Video Transmission Gurrll stopped by a few weeks ago and posted up on that thread from last year. She saw your 10 Point Rating you gave her and made a few comments.

Anti vax labeling is so fucked up. My three kids are virgins and the healthiest of their friends. It’s educated / informed consent :)

Right! Its a choice for myself, I don't tell anybody else to not get it. I'm low risk and working from home so the risk vs reward doesn't make me want to get it.

Not to compare covid to the flu, but I have had the flu shot once in the last 30 years, and I regret it.

I haven’t had anything since boosters for college. I wish I was wiser then or I would have signed the waivers for philosophical reasons. We get nothing here lolol

Yeah. Its a way to label someone negatively (Darkness doesn’t mean harm here) without labeling them. Somehow we buy into these stupid terms put out there. I prefer the Term Pro-Choice when it comes to vaccine. Use the narrative engineers terms back on them.

So, I’ve just heard from someone that received the two doses and was sore for a few days afterwards. Shes been working the Covid Testing in a Facility all year since last March. She says she wouldn’t get the vaccine if she had a choice. This person is smartly educated and not some dumb Hand Model that has really really good looking Hands. Was actually around her quite a bit through this entire 12 months without Mask and didn’t get sick.

    My Hands my Choice!

You know I was never into getting flu shots until I started working for my employer over 20 years ago. Within the first 3 years I got the flu twice. Ever since then I’ve gotten a flu shot. The place is germ factory. Found out the HVAC guys changed the air filters like every two years when it should have been more often.

What’s really strange is that my ex-girlfriend ended up getting Guillain Barre syndrome and couldn’t walk for 3 months. I never asked her if she got flu shots but the chance are like one in ten or hundred thousand that you can get it from the shot. Really weird. Luckily she made a full recovery.

    You had gastroenteritis or influenza?
I’ve taken care of a guy who ended up w a perm trach after GBS, shortly after the flu shot

Haven't been around much lately as work has been INSANE!! but I'm happy to say I'm only ~200 miles away from hitting 300k. Did a few business trips from Tampa to Panama City then Tampa to Miami so I have been putting some mileage on her. She's been running great BUT...twice now I've remote started her and got in and the ac wasn't blowing at all. I drove for a few minutes and it kicked on....Haven't looked into it just yet but if anyone has had this happen?

Worst case, I do have a new car I'm in the midst of purchasing.. #midlifecrisisat34

i was going to give you a hard time about the stress you've caused a lot of the vets in 1st gen with being gone for months. Then saw you've been on some hard times. Welcome back. Did you buy a new dishwasher for the extra space while you were gone?

I enjoy everyone in the 1st gen threads, some are active more than others

OK, so every body grab a beer and listen to my sob story.

Got a beer yet? THEN GO GET ONE! IM TRYNA TELL A STORY!

OK, so back in July I did my rear axle seals. Again. Then the truck kinda sat and I faded away with work and school and whatnot.

With school, in the spring semester I tried taking physics and calculus II at the same time, while having a full time job. Shit went south and I failed out instead of dropping like I should have. I had to sign a "I promise to be a good boy" thing to enroll for the summer. By that point the rona was in full swing and classes were online only. I took tx hist, govt, and speech as online only classes in the summer. Turns out I couldn't handle it since I'm not an online learner. I failed out of those to since I forgot to drop. So I failed 5 classes and dropped my average from a 3.4 to a 1.8. So I'm done with school. Turns out getting an engineering degree with a full time job during rona is next to impossible.

So with the truck I figured out shortly after the fix in July, it ain't fixed. It's still leaking, horribly now. I got disheartened and after my school stuff and seeing the good everyone was doing on their's, I just didn't have the heart to get on any more.

I popped back on in November or maybe October to check in and got overwhelmed with all the new posts and remembered that I have a pos that has been sitting since July and got disheartened again and just gave up.

Well, fast forward a few months. I took my truck to Lang tire here(Mavis tire elsewhere) and had them bleed the brakes and get my truck back up since I'm a lazy POS and can't seem to find time (when I did the rear seals I didn't bleed the brakes). They did an OK job but later that night it did the bad thing again, so I parked it again. Fast forward again to March. The secretary at my work is married to a mechanic who struck out on his own, and literally less than a mile from my trailerhood. I took Ironman to him and he found the rear braked COVERED in diff juice, and found that it was the abs causing the bad juju to happen. So we pulled the fuse and Ironman is back in action.

Also, I moved back in December. Like, 8 houses down. More room, no feral assbag cats, still no shelter when working on vehicles.

Also also, I bought a motorcycle and learned how to ride.

For those who have read this far, here's a thing for you:

    Who-will-join-me.jpg

In conclusion, I'm back for good now. My truck runs, and I have a sense of being now. I'm not going to get overwhelmed trying to catch up, it's been too long. I'll check on the posts I've posted in but that's about it.

Oh, btw, has anyone taken my spot at 3rd gen getter outer, or is it still open?
