A week after I picked up my Tundra last summer, my home health patient offered me their 2007 Camry with 30k for 5k. The timing was not right but Cotdamn I'm still rolling over that one lol

Drove momma bears 4runner because I was lazy and didn’t want to move the car seat. I’ve got a borla cat back on it, haha it was quite as a church mouse compared to my new exhaust on the truck!
@Tundra2 this is one of my switch panels in the Runner.

Digging the cozy, the beer, and the fire/fire pit. A Tuesday is good enough reason for me to start a fire. I’ve had a fire the night before a camping trip where there were fire restrictions, just to smell like smoke.....

Local zoo has done the event the last 5? years. I've got since selfie pics with at least a rhino and giraffe.

Sunday/Monday are my off days this time of year so I pretty much have a fire when the weather allows, either in the pit or the chimnea on the patio.

This is the "extra" leftovers from a spruce that fell in a windstorm a few weeks ago.

Yeah it doesn't look like it's going to be real fun but should be doable if I take my time. If I don't mangle it. :)

Looks kind of like tint. It'll move around on the liquid so you can adjust if it's not right.

Having previously hung a mini disco ball from a review mirror, I can strongly advise against it.
It chips the window when it swings and touches.

I have a 2007 Camry with 250K miles, still running strong. Just replaced the cooling system water pump, new fan, thermostat, cooling hoses and Radiator.

Everytime I see someone in a kia at the gas station I always want to ask them what series of events led them to make that decision.

I mean, there are certainly worse vehicles out there than Kia. Don't they offer a 100K mile warranty? The least reliable vehicle I've ever owned was a Toyota. :notsure:

I would buy a Kia long before many American manufactures.

This particular kia appeared to be under 5 years old with less clear coat than my 25 year old 4runner.

Your right though. There are definitely worse cars. It is pretty tough to find a running kia with 300k miles on it though.

just like my Sunday. Except DIPAs and put a climbing dome together while tending the fire. Had to burn a fuck ton of butt ends from my fire wood

They might not be so bad if you replace the suspension and powertrain for some serious off roading. The 90s Sportage had a body on a full frame.

I drove my wife's 07 Elantra from 40k to 170k and sold it a few months ago. Didn't cost me anything except tires and fluids and a couple struts. Cant really complain there.
2012 Santa Fe blew a rod bearing and needed a complete rebuild at 100k. There's a long issue with those years and the Theta II engine. We did not get compensated like 2-3 million others

We test drove a kia the other day. For the price of a decent gx460 we can get a 2016+ sorento with 80k or less miles. It was the most vanilla boring vehicle on the inside that I've seen was made within the last 10 years. Even my wife said something like "I don't hate it but I don't know how I feel about it either". When you unusually bore her with a car, you have really done something.

The wife wonders why I made faces when she mentioned a chrysler and a gm suv. I just told her I didn't know how to work on them and they have bad ratings haha.

2020 Kia's feel like 1988 Mitsubishi's. Hollow doors. Unimaginative, utilitarian interiors awash with cheap plastic buttons. They sing when you turn them on and off like my sister's Korean washing machine. Must be cool in Korea. Vanilla is giving it too much credit. They have some cool models (Stinger GT) but the run of the mill stuff is, well, run of the mill. Engine reliability issues of late.
