It feels like baking soda, but if I recall it does actually make things grippy. I used it on a trailer some time ago so my memory might be hazy.

I just took off my headlights to replace the budget D2S projectors with Morimoto D2S 5 projectors and Morimoto XB 5500K HID lights. I took off the passenger turn signal. I remembered seeing a little condensation in it a while back. Yeah, when I took it off, it had a 4 inch long half inch wide gap where the plastic separated from the lenses. That's what I get for buying cheap chit. Lol. I decided to paint the reflectors and shrouds black this time instead of leaving them chrome. Hope it turns out well. Now I'm off to order some turn signals. Sigh......

I want some of those cheap turn signals that separate easily...just for a 2004 DC!

Don't see this every day, not since the mini truck scene seemed to die off.

I'm not saying my 2004 DC factory turn signals were cheap but they do separate easily !

Especially if you sling them across the garage while attempting to slide them out of there notches while using your palms :frusty:
Of course @Roman at Coolsprings put me back in business a few days later :spending:

I do believe im going to purchase the SOS rear disc brake kit. Not for the tundra, but for the Tacoma. If i like how it all sets up i will be doing it to the tundra too though.

silly question guys, am I supposed to have a round disk like brake booster master cylinder at the driver's side firewall in the engine bay on my 2006 DC? Because, I don't and every engine bay shot I see on here has it...

I think the round one is discontinued on your model per my brief study. They switched to this new design after problems?

Thats a rabbit hole I ended up going down last month and discovered most of my caliper pistons seized. Also, I’ve read that worn out piston seals can allow air entry into the calipers and create ‘soft pedal’.

I have replaced front calipers and pads but same as before the change I still get like a half second of non-responsiveness from the brakes. Pedal feels fine. It's just like a delay of braking from when I stomp to when the brakes kick in. I think the rears are due for replacement so I may see if that makes any difference first.

Currently trying to buy a 2001 Tacoma base model with the 2.4 and 2wd. Frames rotted and the bumpers are crunched but the body is pretty straight. Trying to get it for 300 and I’ll go get a frame from down south to fix it up and make it 4x4

My mom had one of these with a 351W and a manual trans. Best farm truck ever. Could do farm/truck things, but could also do awesome 4 wheel burnouts in the fields. #farmkhana

I'll get pics next time ... Someone was standing in the yard and I didn't wanna seem like a creep. But grampa must've finally given his grandson the blue DC down the street from me because it's quickly gone from beautiful and unmolested stock to no tail gate and a stupid net and stupid stickers directly on the painted bumper and bedside. That kid has no taste. Only a matter of time before there's some dents and scratches lol
I wish the grandpa would've sold it to me. But he must be cool as hell giving it to his grandson.

Also the T3 down the street seems to have been MIA the last month or so. Not sure what happened to it. I would've loved to buy it as well.

I had an 85 150 with the 4.9 I-6, 3 speed w OD manual. Somehow the oil pump quit doing its thing(snapped the drive Allen key or whatever it’s called) my cousin knows a guy who basically had a junk yard of ford broncos and f150s, got a ford test/learning facility facility motor for a explorer with efi. Machined plugs, and re machined them for the injector ports(remachined them because the exhaust gasket wouldn’t clear) 3 into 2 headers, 3” exhaust with cat delete and borla muffler, all SS and ceramic coated. And while we had the motor out we threw in a 4 speed truck tranny with the granny gear. That thing was fun! My cousin is the one who probably started my deep love for modding and changing the perfectly fine

That four speed was a ton of fun! Thing shifted more like a car than a truck, it was a real fun truck to drive for only having a few dozen horsepower
