whoa whoa, simmer. It was a joke.
Noah was making her out to be a real "beauty pageant winner" so I took it and ran with it.

I came here to see what was up with you. Line through your name on TW, but you didn't show up in the "Banned Members Memorial Thread". I thought maybe you quit TW for some reason. 30 days seems to be the new normal for anything except BST <50 posts.

If you have anything you want me to pass the frame swap guy you mentioned, you can give it to me and I'll see he gets it. I remember the thread, you were telling him about swapping with engine/trans w/body. I think Tour99 or someone had written it out fro him, so he's probably okay.

If those were available when I bought my gun metal grey, I would have gotten them. I'm still thinking about it and throwing my gun metal ones on the 4Runner...:monocle:

I just wish Toyota would make this in a 17x8 or AT LEAST a 17x7.5 instead of the 17x7 it is.

Though maybe I won’t do it since these would be sucked into the fenders A LOT! :(

It doesn't worry me because I like to run skinnies, but you could try contacting FN and see if they sell their TRD Pro wheel copies in bronze. I believe it's 17x8 or 17x8.5

Or buy the FN's and paint them bronze..

I think those are nice looking @CodyP but you are always talking about width and stance. Seems like you should just buy the Ray10's you like.:spending:

Those look perfect. Yes, I keep nixing wheels cause I’m scared of them being too tucked looking. I just don’t wanna pay for what I think those Rays cost

No, he didn't get them. Two weekends ago he said he could meet me on the weekend. I asked which day, and he never replied.

I'd be willing to come to Terre Haute, unless you need to be in my area anyway. That would save you several hours. I could do it Friday.

They come in bronze, I had the TrD replicas from FN. The bronze might be a little darker than the toyota ones but they are really nice.

Nice, I prefer the darker bronze...many wheels that claim bronze are closer to a dark gold to me.

Looks like it will be a few weeks before dropping the gas tank and doing the Fuel Pump Install. Full tank of gas needs to burn down!

Just pre-game Mojo. It took me an hour and half to put the proper Hand Jive on that upper clip removal. By then, I chased a shiny squirrel over to the Fuel Filter removal which was a 3 hour tour. A 3 hour tour. Almost got Shipwrecked on Gilligans Isle, but the Gas Line Teflon Tape saved the day and I was detoured back to Fantasy Island.

Oh the sequoia, Came out of work today and noticed fresh oil under the truck. Get home crawl up under it, drop the skid, and there’s oil everywhere. Ole girl is leaking from the oil filter housing/adapter. Parts are gonna about $150. Anybody changed one of these yet? It looks like a bear to get too

with higher miles comes wear and tear, still cheaper than a new 4Runner though lol

The guy who owns this Ford is something else.
    20210324_175215.jpg
He left his dome light on all night about a week ago, and I heard him try to turn this V10 over. Eventually, it started clicking. She was dead. I retrieved the work jump box, and took it to him. He had asked a guy in a lifted chevy with Carolina lean to give him a jump.

He said "Boy, I'm glad you're here. I didn't want a jump from no piece of shit chevy anyways." He had that bottom lip packed full. He signaled to the chevy that he didn't need a jump from him.

I asked him to pop his hood, and he said "I don't know how. I haven't had this thing long enough to figure it out." My immediate thought was "Who buys any vehicle, and doesn't look under the hood. Oh, right... Stemmulus..." He fumbled around underneath the dash, and finally got it popped. He said "Go head, and hook'er up."

I explained that work rules prevented us from doing that. If we are caught hooking up the jump box FOR YOU we get fired." He said "That's pretty feckin dumb." I explained that it was a liability issue, and he said "Liability? Who gives a shit?"

I could tell that country boy here was rather closed minded. Full of judgement, and predilections. Rather racist as well because he said "I'm glad you're a white boy." He continued on, but there's no need to post what he said.......
    20210324_175220.jpg
    20210324_175228.jpg

We had a brief discussion about trucks in which I mainly listened, and asked questions. He told me that "they" were asking 10k for this rig, but he was able to talk then down to $8,800. Using his stimuli as a down payment he was able to finance the remaining $7,400.

We had a brief discussion about life, again I mainly listened, and asked questions. He told me that he was in the marines, but was kicked out of basic. His marriage had fallen apart while he was away at basic, and when he returned to civilian life he had to start over "because of that God damn ungrateful bitch."

    Strange characters.

Almost threw in the white towel on this today. Same boarding house where we pulled out a lid from a toilet but different toilet. After running a 6ft toilet auger and no joy I pulled the toilet and this is what I found. 20210324_115417.jpg A dam remote control was stuck inside, even with the vise grips I could not pull the thing out. Finally I grabbed a 12inch drill bit, popped open the side and started breaking the thing up with my pliers. Some of these adults here are worse then frickin kids. 20210324_142506.jpg 20210324_143034#1.jpg
