Are you sticking with stock sized tires? At some point I'd also like to do gears and a LSD but was thinking 4.30 gears from my stock 3.91 on my stock 245/70R16 tires. Not sure if 4.56 gears would be overkill for my needs... daily driver, occasional towing under 3500 lbs. Which LSD you going with?

I just got done watching a video of a guy with four cleats in his ass cheeks bungee jumping using those "tie downs."

Pretty neat stuff. Y'all said something about "degloving?"

My stock tires were 265/65 17 but I'm on 275/55 20 at the moment, 4.30 would get my speedo close. 4.30 with your stock tires sounds good, I think you are under 30". I'm almost 2" taller so the 4.56 would give me a nice bump. I think he has a detroit truetrac in stock so that's what is going in

Very much so. I'm more intrigued as to what went so horribly wrong in that guys life to lead him there. What was the build up? What convinced him he had to do that?

That's mis-advertised. It's actually a political answer - where you do you think all politicians GET all their answers from, anyway?

The dudes that do suspension are a fully different species of human.
At the point where simply hanging from big forking hooks/loops in your skin falls short of your goals, I guess this is the next logical step?

It's a fine morning for a TB cleaning, but I just noticed an empty connector on this coolant manifold. Single pin, any ideas?

Thoughts on aftermarket brakes? Rock auto doesnt have quietcast, im thinking PS z123 cause im not a panic braker.
Titan has gone 120k on its old tires, and another 7kish on the brakes and they’re not even close. My trans clutchpacks might be getting thin, cause the titans 5 speed lever and uprev or whatever is amazing, and i fondle that all the time.
Anyone have the powerstop geomet coated rotors? Id rather have black hats, but if its more than just a superficial coating? I like the SOS kit that adapts fj cruiser discs. Anyone here done that?

Not sure if the Sequoia differs with regard to that switch on the Tundra, I took a quick peek at mine and there is a single wire plugged into that switch. It comes from the same harness as the switch just above it, runs along the coils going toward the back of the engine. Your temp gauge/light working?

On my 2001 tundra v8 thats the coolant temp sending unit and it should have a wire going to it. If there isn't temp info getting to the ECU somehpw you should be getting a CEL about temprature change rate

Interesting.. the harness hasn't been messed with, no additional wires to plug in. Temp gauge works on the cluster, no CEL, runs like a champ.
I might just need to un-see it.

We had a Swingers Club here on the Island that in the early internet days used the Homes for Sale by Owner Site to send their secret meeting signals. I found out when looking for homes and then unbeknownst ran into a couple at a party at some friends. They told me what neighborhood they lived (Bat Signal) and I said what I saw online.

    Their eyes opened BIG...

    They were in the Club.

That's a beauty though. Glad they didn't put those stretched boggers on or whatever those Hawaiians on IG do.

I'm on Oahu right now, living the PHM life for a week. I’ve been seeing lots of island style rigs, not my style, but I appreciate that they make vehicles their own here.

So the steeler ordered the wrong part for my motor mounts, I even gave them a part number, but guy said it got superseeded bla bla, metal plates that go on top of mounts showed up and not the rubber:( and they won’t be in until Saturday after 1pm. So that sorta throws a big wrench in my time schedule because bday party on Saturday, which only leaves me Sunday to fully fab the exhaust, not what I was wanting to do.
Oh and I need to order rear o2 extension harness too!
