The continued softening of our great country by trying to make safe the things that are inherently unsafe fills [what's left of] my heart with blackness.
Driving is dangerous. If people don't respect that, then it's their problem. If they crash into you, that's what insurance is for.
If you don't like the risk, don't drive. Take the bus or the train or a bike or walk or just stay home.

Plowing to the inside isn't a feasible option honestly. The snow is going to follow the path of least resistance which is to the outside, there's no way to really stop it from doing that.

Got down on the live and let DIE grinder, I’d say the mojo should flow a lot smoother than what was shipped to me. I’ll probably do a few hand standings of 100g then some 250. I’m much happier with the flow passages now!

This lil guy is just like all the old farts at work; trying to tell me how to do it the right way, “you see if you do it this way”
“Well what if you used this instead?”
I’ll take little mans help all day!

There's a half inch of ice on everything metal outside right now. [Initiate 2009 ice storm flash backs] the ground is mainly wet is some spots. Starting to freeze in others.

I'll tell a story about 2009 if I have more time tonight. (Doubtful.)

Pops called. We discussed some things and agreed that my truck wouldn't be able to get up alanders hill, or tooley hill. Both decided it best to get a room here locally or sleep in the lot. (If I cant drive by the time work let's out.)

Should have brought more than extra food/clothes with me to work.

If your door is frozen shut - don't pull the handle.
Lift the handle & grab the top edge of the door, heave on the top of the metal door-not the plastic handle.

I have one. The only thing I'd wished I'd brought was booze. In the state of KY, and I'm sure other places.

Even a bottle cap is considered an open container even if there is no container. Evidence of the container.

Nothing sells booze until 7 am. Lol one beer would be fantastic for work sleep.

Most people here drive AWD cars because they be stuntin. They look good rolling down the strip and then they go back home to their cracker jack house. Most rent their water heater monthly, if that tells you anything.

They miss two payments and the owner of the water heater comes, and takes it.

A greater portion of the people here don't come in the next day after a shitty weather event like this. I'll be one of those people depending on how my now shortened commute is. I got a room because 5 miles is much better than 50 miles on ice.

If I cant get out of the lot I'll put a clean face mask over my eyes and snooze in the lot here at work.

top tip; don't cancel, change the date of the reservation for a month out. Later cancel.
That way you are cancelling w/in the allowable advance period. :anonymous:
