Hard to tell but those look like synthetic lines. Still not a great idea but they're far safer than wire.

The only place that rents stand alone car hauler trailers is Uhaul and they say a Tundra won’t fit.

Does something like United Rentals do trailers/car haulers?

interesting. my local rental place will rent standard equipment/tilt bed trailers with no care as to what I put on it. I would be United would rent trailers as well. It's pretty common for those places to rent the trailer along with a piece of equipment.

I wish I earned a dollar for every time I get a nail or screw in a tire. Wife's car got a nail over the weekend. I'm gonna yank it and see if it went through. I also noticed there are no tools under the spare to change a tire with, so I picked up a 19mm socket and a smaller wrench as well as a scissor jack.

Always check for those things when you buy a used car, lesson learned but at least I was at home and not out on the freeway or something.

oof! Fingers crossed it didn't make it through. That's a lot of healthy tread to lose to a stupid sidewall puncture.

Man I have tried every trick I can think of to get my brake pedal to stop squeaking each time I press it. Nothing has worked. I know it sounds minor but it sure is annoying. My only solution has been to turn my music up louder. :notsure:

Yeah exactly, these tires only have a years worth of use on them. I don't really want one new tire and being unbalanced but don't like the idea of buying two new tires either.

Do you have road hazard protection on them? If you do, you could get away with just buying one tire to keep that axel even, and use the other tire as a full size spare.

I doubt it, I'll have to call to ask. Since this is 4wd I might be better off replacing two tires.

my u-haul rents two carriers. one is the standard car carrier, one more equipment oriented with a full ramp but is narrow at the bottom.
Wonder if your region only has the narrower style?
If it physically fits onto the trailer - Some will tell them they are towing a 1967 VW Beetle. :anonymous:

So when I bought the truck had a vibration from about 30mph on. 3 new u-joints, a new carrier bearing, and new set of control arm bushings later. Vibes are gone except for 35-45 mphs range. Any faster and the truck smoothed out. I thought maybe it was the crappy bfg all-terrains, since gotten new wheels and had the set-up rebalanced.

I swear it feels like it’s directly under the front seats but there’s no guarantees on that bet.

So that leaves me with a drive shaft weight, drive shaft angle issue, torque converter issue, idk.

id suspect something with the trans but the truck shifts fine if you romp on it Ann speed through the speed range mentioned above

I would check to see if your drive shaft is out of phase.

The Island received a light dusting of about an inch snow overnight. We’ll be paralyzed for weeks but now everyone can work from home so it doesn’t matter.

Now I get to do some Truck Snow Model Shots. Maybe bust out my little Tonka Snow Shovel and Plastique Tire Boards. Gotta wait for the perfect light.

Does anyone know if this is true of our trucks?

On the first gen t4r the flow of coolant to the heater core is regulated by a valve on the feed line in.

Its a Little Box on the firewall on drivers side. Has a cable connected to it from Climate Dash. Lube it and work it real good.

man seeing the old f-350s and shit being able to have the new interiors out of the brand new trucks swapped in is really making me want to be able to swap in a 3rd gen taco interior... (since 2nd gen tundras WAY bigger)

someone go steal me a 3rd gen taco so i can experiment

I saw these now unavailable? and discontinued calipers on a deep search a few months back when everyone was breaking wood on the Scary Lexus Calipers. What do you think about that StopTech 3 Piston Big Brake Kit? Other than the High Dolla $1300 Price.

Having owned a '17 Tacoma, the interior was the ONLY improvement over the 2nd Gen. I could never bring myself to own a 2nd Gen Tacoma/4thGen 4Runner/3rd Gen pre-2014 Tundra just because I hate those interiors soooooooo much....

Only thing I like about the new Toyota’s (last 4-6 years) has been the interiors.
