So elate commented that the supercharger manifold WILL fit the 2uz. but you will need the fuel rail and injectors off a 1uz or 3 uz

who knows... if he says it'll clear the air pumps.. i MIGHT have to bite for an supercharger.

    Preach, brother.

I've found a lot of Indy folks that are the same. How you going to have never been to Chicago, St Louis, Cinci, or Louisville? A lot of these yokels have never left Marion Co. Shit is just crazy to me. I've driven to 43 states.

Gonna need longtubes for a super-blower.
Also, Speed Academy is putting a super-blower on their Lexus sedan using that Elate kit. They're 2 videos deep into the 'build' on YouTube. If those yeeters can do it, anyone can.

I’m trying to convince the wife to let me do that instead of buying a $3,000 f350. She hasn’t but yet, but we’ll see if I can convince her...

This is far riskier at $3000 than at ~$300.
    YMMV

Got some parts(in a Boston accent)
After watching two videos, I’ve seen two different styles of pin/clip to hold the slide pins in the caliper...... I think the other style is the anti rattle version because it puts constant tension on the pins vs the goofy Hello Cotter pins.

I’m excited to try out the Toyota toothpaste!

    Edit:
@Professional Hand Model, after doing some digging on the steeler sight, cross referencing parts from the 4runner, the anti rattle clips for the pins, should work; same part number for the calipers as well as the pads, but it says that anti rattle won’t. I guess I’ll have to make sure it has the little hole to clip/seat into.

Gonna have to pick it up after C19 calms down @chrisb I'd been by automobile to every state except HI & AK, most more than once. :)
But I'm a slacker on the "lived in" count. Only lived 7 states with a couple of them repeated.

Definitely gypsy blood in my veins. I cannot image finding happiness in staying put. :der:
I cannot believe April will mark 15 years in this current state. :ballchain:

I've lived all my 42 in Indiana despite a few attempts to move away.
But I'll be damned if I'm going to not see as much of this huge country as I can.

I also plan to drive to Alaska for my 50th. That's going to be one hell of a road trip.

Man, I may have finally found my 4wd donor truck but it’s about 5.5 hrs south.

Anyone with maybe a little more trailering experience than myself think that I could rent a Uhaul dolly, pull the rear drive shaft and tug it a little over 300 mi?

Pulling a trailer is nothing more than just smooth and slower corners, slowing down sooner and giving yourself more room. BUT when you are gonna tow a vehicle that's the same weight if not a bit more than yours it's really not safe. Have another truck you can use?

I do love how trucks can easily climb seemingly impossible faces/grades, but catch a bump off-camber and end up on their roofs.

rent a full trailer. the dollies are meant for small cars, not full trucks. take 'er easy and you'll do just fine. I've hauled full size 1-ton trucks with my Tundra just fine. go slow.

I have zero experience winching but isn't this the opposite of where one is supposed to stand? If a line snaps it's coming right at him right?

A wireless winch controller would make moving to a safer spot easier. I would have put a damper on the winch line, put the hood up on both vehicles and sat in the cab.

Good to know. I think the Tacoma guys I went wheeling with last month were joking about how slow I was going at times. This video is why. Slow is fast. I was trying to pick my lines carefully and not end up like this.

I have made a habit of putting my hood up whenever I tug someone out with my front end. I'd much rather the rope snap and hit the hood rather than the windshield and my head. I totally agree with you though, I don't understand how people even those with experience can blaze through a lot of trails. Going fast when you shouldn't and being careless with your lines is how you end up with serious carnage. I also prefer to go slow because I really don't want a head on with a dirt bike or some other yokel.
