Any one with a 2002, is your skid plate plastic? I saw this at work and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one like this. 2wd truck

I guess since there's no axle/diff to protect on the 2wd it acts more like a wind dam instead of a protective plate?

If I had any sense at all I would have sold my GTI long ago, even for cheap. But that turbo is so damn addictive. Every time I'm at 3k rpm and floor it I can't get enough of it. 20+psi is scary and exciting at the same time. Hitting freeway speed in second gear never fails to get the blood flowing either.

I too enjoy a few spirited drives from time to time.

My daily driver is a manual C30 with the 5 cylinder turbo that offers a pretty good soundtrack (for what it is).

Frame I put up yesterday is now coming down. Snow projected for the next two days. Starting 1 hour ago.

Truck had a 4 second start after sitting overnight at 11f. Using it as a warm up spot.

Currently 16f, wind is 30 knots, and snow is fierce. (For here. Hasn't snowed on chrimmas here in a real long time)

Merry Christmas all. socially distant really sucks today.

So I'm sending out a little city folk style, socially-indistant, slightly maniacal, celebration of joy - just because.

It's not Santa, but you've just got to smile at least a little bit.

Fun Fact - warmer here in CT today than in Miami, FL.

This is how I was taught to drive in the snow.
I never tried in a 4WD pickup truck.... that would be - interesting to a lot of fun. until you had to un-roll it.
