I've heard of that beach many times. I'm in SD every other weekend to visit in laws, done the bike rides from Del Mar to Encinitas and back several times, and spent a few days at La Jolla, but never went to Black's.

I'm not one to judge a person pissin' and puking at the same time. I am one to judge a fella if they can't make the easy layup, though.

hey, I grew up in Moorpark

Anyone know if Wheeler's has any discounts running right now? Thinking of picking up a set of Bilstein 5160s for myself.

I'm surprised that hood worked. As for the grill, it really looks about the same to me. It looks good though!

Surprised to hear that, its such a small town most people have never heard of it. I've only lived here about 3 years now, I love it.

Hahaha! When I have to explain it to people I say it's on the edge of Thousand Oaks. Some of them still give a confused look.

Dropped my phone in the sink while I was washing my hands. So glad it's water proof, but I gmfreaked out for a second. For some reason it lowered volume when it got wet, turned out to be fine.

People with torque pro apps and scan guages; what does your idle usually run after you are warmed up?
I’m not sure if I’m looking for a problem, but I think my idle is a little rough. It runs about 602-629 rpm after its warmed up. It runs great and feels solid when I drive it, but idle seems a little shaky. I’ve recently done most everything under the hood as PM, so I’m not sure if it’s me or the motor. Any feedback would be appreciated.
    Things I’ve done:
    Plugs
    Coils
    All o2s
    Throttle body clean
    New pcv valve
    New fuel pressure reg
    New fuel pressure dampener
    Clean air filter
    Clean maf
    New battery
    Thanks meow

haha, ok fine I lied. I typically give people a list that normally goes, "I grew up in Moorpark, near thousand oaks, camarillo, simi valley area." By then they normally just nod and concur as they can see I'd think them an idiot if they cannot locate any of those towns if they still don't know where I'm talking about.

Thank you, my numbers were in D, I forgot to look when I parked tonight.
Does idle in drive resonate the same as any rpm above 1k?
When I’m driving she feels like a iron stallion, but idle feels a little vibratorus

Engine runs like a Swiss Sewing Machine at all speeds, idles, etc.

Every once in a while in Park at idle after engine had been run and then later restarted in a warm condition there would be a light rolling intermittent vibe in the cab. Since new a MAF and o2’s its rare and lighter when it happens.

Check your manual for RPM’s Spec. Yours sounds high as the 2002 Spec is 525-550 in Drive/Brake/Idle at Op Temp.

Yeah I need to look for MAF specs for mine, not sure if it’s a different part for our years; I’ve seen some weird anomalies with ambient air temps to intake temps

I don't mention Simi, I don't want to be recognized as one of them :D

When I lived in Canoga Park I told people I lived in Woodland Hills. I was right on the street that separated the cities. Sometimes I would call it Canoga Hills just to mess with people, it was funny when they just nodded as if they knew where Canoga Hills was.

Yeah. I cleaned my old one quite a few times. Couldn’t get rid of the tar on the front wire. Bought the new one and then Spec’d the old one and it was way off. Try that Hitachi Store on Big Gurrrl.

Yeah another memeber and I were messaging back and forth about fuel pump issues and he ended up changing the MAF and his problems went away.

my intake temp is always 5-10 degrees warmer than ambient temps; one day I was driving, and had been driving for a while and I noticed my intake temp was 20-30 degree hotter than ambient. I want at a stop or anything, it was weird. And usually you can hit the skinny and draw more air and see the temp go down(if you had just left a stop light) but that didn’t seem to do anything.
So replacement might be in my horoscope......
