You’ll want the Toyota Lithium Based Soap Grease. Its in my build page. Its Pink grease that is compatible with brake fluid. Grease those new cylinders before install.

I just cleaned the inner cylinder walls with alcohol and acetone follow up. I didn’t hone them as some do. They had some light build up inside, but it cleaned off nicely with the alcohol/acetone on a stout cloth rag.

I had both my UCAs caster set to the D aka neutral or stock setting but my camber was not even close from side to side. So I finally fixed that after 2 years or shitty alignments and now I'm on the B setting so I can actually clear my tires when off roading and turning

What's your tire set up? I'm running 265/70/R16 on stock wheels.
    20201025_102331.jpg

Once I get my front end refresh completed I'll slap these on. Same specs as what I've got on right now, but different tires. More of a road tire with less aggressive tread.

That video goes over all that inbetween the 3 to 5 minute marks I believe. Iirc it's a 32mm. I just torque everything down by the tight plus a 1/4 turn rule if by hand or just use my 20v DeWalt impact

I watched that video. Everything looks surprisingly easy... much easier than I thought.

I wish that he had went more in-dept on how the cams work, but thats okay. There's probably another video for that.

I'll scrounge around at work, and see if I can find. ½" drive 32mm socket to sign out for the weekend. My biggest socket is like 24mm. If I can't find one I'll order one.

Sometimes the hammer just has to watch from a distance while the power tools have fun.

I do take the interchanges like I'm playing Mario Kart! Earlier this week I had to go to Phoenix, I had the cruise control at 75mph and left it engaged while merging onto the 10 from the HOV lane. It's usually a 55-60mph curve and if left at 75 it used to feel a little unnerving. She tracked nice and steady, able to hold the line much easier with the fat sway bar up front. When my backordered Addco arrives, I hope to be able to install HD rear springs at the same time. Then, lookout interchanges!

In the summer, I often head north to Pine on Highway 87 via N Bush Hwy, it's a fun twisty road. And for really twisty stuff, Apache Trail isn't far from me.

Apache Trail by Lost Dutchman State Park.

And a little more info in a follow up post. I'm waiting on the Addco rear sway bar, it's on backorder.

Let me guess, the 60wb onto the 10? Both the hov-10wb and just onto the 10eb WERE always nuts. I usually took my loaded work van over those 75-85!
I haven’t touched those roads in over two years!!!! It’s been great!!!

I usually stay on the 202wb to the 10, I sometimes have to do the 60 on the way back depending on traffic. Previously having lived all my life in NYC, I laugh at what's considered "traffic" out here. You know what's great? No snow! :D

Anyone know if a head unit out of a 2015 Tacoma will factory plug into a 2005 Tundra?

From what I’ve been read the wire harness is the same on a lot of Toyotas. Wondering if anyone has done it here.

    Thanks.

I have no idea what's going on with my headlights since installing these new ballasts. I'm either getting no headlights, one headlight or both. Each time I drive the truck it's a complete guess as to which one will work. I've checked all the connections and they are snug.
