Man, how does one go about getting a Covid vacation without getting Covid? Come too close to someone with it at work?

I already mentioned how bad it's been for my friends and family so far and I didn't even share all the details. Hope you make do without contracting!

Not to hash an overly tired claim, but there's always been this grey area about whether Moog makes the TRW parts, Moog makes great stuff.

Yup close contact and my work is 2 weeks off regardless of a negative test result. No results back yet from my test on Tuesday, but no symptoms.

They sent another test for me to do tomorrow that should have results Tuesday so we'll see what both say.

Still haven’t heard anyone personally who has died. No ambulances running up and down the street. Nurse friends say hospital is not overwhelmed. 99.9% survival. Vaccine approved (2 actually). Total overall US death rates below 2018-19 for the year 2020. All good news.

The very very very few I know who had it ranged from light cold to mild flu. All recovered in less than 5 days. Good news.

I’ve heard more stories of suicide due to losing business, stuck in home with parents (doom and gloom), and being isolated from elderly loved ones irrationally. Sad, but true.

Yes, this unfortunately. I know a few people who aren't handling isolation well. To their credit, they are sticking to isolation unlike so many others.

    He’s got a history..........
Again I’m surprised he lasted as long as he did under the new “user” name. Apparently he’s pulled the same stunt before(user name wasn’t as generic, and possibly offensive) not sure how long that account lasted.
“There are rules that need to be followed”
“Rules are meant to be broken” sorta thing; but he did stand up for us OG Genners; actually right around the same time last year; due to sales pitches being JAMMED down our throats.......

Correct on the working for a university.

We've managed to stay well under 100 cases at our campus and under 50 until this week.

I'm not saying the protocol makes sense but it seems to be working for them.

Yeah we have a protocol, or shelter in place orders, it it doesn’t seem to work nor make sense, but I’m sure it makes LOTS OF CENTS!!!!!
Like me, I’m sure you’ve been working thru and in all of this “action”
We have very little communication from our “leadersl”/ higher ups(@Tundra2 same kinda shhhhtuff) to inform us how to respond, protect or approach any of this.
Yes a lot of it is common sense, but a lot of it is just unsaid and unspecified and can be interpreted any way you choose. So it’s a little weird and sometimes uncomfortable on our campus. I’m doing as little as possible inside buildings, banging on pipes on the roof or outside to make myself look important......
I still have to do “calls” but I’m in and out.
I seriously do like your guys approach to exposure, I’ve got plenty of fishing tackle to keep me busy during a isolation.....

    Tonight has been fucking ridiculous.

    20201120_011054.jpg
Changing batteries on a extended boom lift that were leaking. Which the acid ate my pants...
    20201119_235544.jpg
Ended up on the roof using the same lift I'd just put batteries in.
    20201119_234756.jpg 20201119_232408.jpg
Worked on a fan that had a whole extrusion line down.

One of my coworkers got a forklift stuck in the mud even though we all told him not to do that...
    20201119_231031.jpg 20201119_231035.jpg
He pulled it out with his Turd Gen Tundra.

40°F on the roof with wind blowing steady around 35 mphs. My britches were breezy up there. My body decided that a "Retreat to warmer territory" was in order.

Well, just like my ospho spill. I managed to get out relatively unscathed.

No skin irritation. Just mild inconvenience due to pants. Luckily I had a spare set in my locker.

Some get mild symptoms, some are presently hanging in the big strip club in the sky. My wife’s friend said her neighbors husband, sister and mother all passed from covid and there are few others in her community that have passed. No one close to me has gotten sick but my circle is pretty small

I highly doubt I'm better to quote other than reporting me to the authorities, or to laugh at me.

Well reporting to authorities and/or laughing at you is a valid reason to quote you, Entertainment comes at someone’s expense
