better, but still a bit "tacked on". I think more centered with the mirror, or somehow more aligned with the trucks lines.
What about mounted to bottom of mirror housing so they could push back w/o damage should an 'event' occur?

That would be difficult. Yes they still look like a add on, but you get the most effective use of the light without wasting some of it on the hood. These are true ditch lights. They get all their light to the ditch.

Well I get to deal with a wet floor board. Got the passenger side leak. Not really sure how long it’s been leaking is the bad part

Once you pull up the carpet you'll know, if it's been long, you'll see paint bubble. Keep the carpet and underlay elevated off the floor by propping stuff under it to dry it out fully. See the sticky "definitive leak thread" at the top section of the forum thread list for the most likely culprit (or click here for thread)

    currently on 265/75/16s. I wouldn’t mind some 285/75/16s.

I bought a set of methods with 4.5 backspace and 0 offset.

I don't think you'll need spacers with 285's. I'm running essentially the same size without spacers. I'm not against spacers but I personally don't have a reason to run them. If you want the wider stance then that's about the only reason I would get them.

I ordered some Xxx Blue Spacers Hub Centric (supposedly the best) after overcoming my doubts about them from reading many reviews. They were 1.25” and I’m on 285/75/r16 original Starfish Toyota Wheels so figured these would give the truck that nice look with the tires perfectly flush with the flares. I really think that look is nice.

Got the spacers in hand and started feeling out the Mojo. Went and removed a wheel lug and did some probe measurements to see how these would mount before committing to them entirely. Didn’t like the set up due to the nuts not sinking down into the spacer holes as do our Acorn Lug Nuts.

Basically, there is a 3/8” gap between the Truck Hub Mating Surface and the Spacer Nut. On top of that, the Spacer Lug Nut doesn’t look to mate the Spacer in alignment as our Acorn Nuts do with our tires. They have a weird chamfer on the Spacer Nuts which doesn’t sink in (leaving that 3/8” gap).

If they made an Acorn type lug/spacer nut I’d go all in, but they don’t so I sent them back. I even bought the Extended Thread Lug Nuts thinking they’d cure the problem. They still don’t sink into the Spacer hole and only hit flush with a skinny rim holding/mating the Spacer tight.

Seems sketchy without that Acorn Fitment at the spacer to hub surface surely leading to wobbles/vibration at high speeds not to mention the lack of optimum strength aspect.

Very slight frame rub. Honestly that bugs me less than the rub on the fender liner. But it only rubs in reverse so it really doesn't bother me and if I did some trimming I'm sure it would go away.

I got to say the windshield wiper cowl on these trucks is worlds easier to remove than on a Jeep Wrangler lol

Anways as far my leak goes, I pulled all the screw grommet things out, siliconed over the hole, and shoved them back in, then siliconed around that, and just for s**ts and giggles I did around the white ones that snap in place.

I’ll be watching for this issue to pop up on my wife’s 07 sequoia since I figure it’s in about the same shape

@Professional Hand Model, I’m with y I. The flush look but I’m scared of spacers lol. I’ve got a buddy that runs a tire shop, I’m gonna pick his brain about em and report back. Some shops around won’t touch a truck with spacers:

@FirstGenVol shat backspace you got on those ray 10’s?

Per the spacers: If I had machine bore capability, I would have bored slightly larger holes and used those extended thread nuts for full Acorn Style nut depth, as well as maximum thread engagement. If you or anyone knows where we can get both hub/lug centric combo’d together that would be great.

@robabeatle and I went and checked out Rice Peak. The area/access road just opened up to travel after the Big Horn fire we just had over the summer. We got to see lots of charred mountain side and even some deer! The trail was pretty sweet and not to technical, just slow and pretty rocky in parts. It had this goofy no radius switch back that you had to back up into it so you then were facing forward up into the next part of the switch back...........double cab did lots of 12 point turns! 4+ hours in and out. I will go back for sure!

Is that a scorpion? My wife found one while we were camping a few years ago. We didn't even know we had them in TN and it's the only one I've seen in 20+ years of living here.

Arizona pinstripes! At least you can close your windows. All of my off-roading is either 2 wheeled or in a SxS so every now and then the cholla aka jumping cactus get me.

cool. i might drop coin on a toyota accessory one. the current hitch isnt really rated the same as the tow package factory hitch.. if the acessory one is the way i think it is, it might be damn near the same as the actual tow package one

plus i like the extra ground clearance i'd gain if its tucked up nice to the bumper

I chose my Draw-tite 37130 because of the class IV rating. It tucks up fairly well.
