the squat is bad, but my line is way shallower. Anyone that uses autodim & i catch it, neither of us are gonna see anything for 15 seconds. Good luck, but i can strobe my shit.

I basically turned off all email notifications on my first week here, back in 2020. Drove me nuts seeing an email every time someone replied to my thread, my post, and/or liked something. Then finally turned off emails for PM replies.

Not long after, I turned off alerts for thread and post replies unless it's something I've explicitly told the forum I want to watch. Then turned off 'like' alerts. Now I only see notifications if it's something "important".

If you're really narcissistic and need to see who recently liked your stuff, you can hit this link in the profile section: https://www.tundras.com/account/likes

Or if you want to feel like a do-gooder, and see all the likes* you've handed out, you can hit this link in the profile section: https://www.tundras.com/account/likes-given

There's also a way to see a count on both of those, I think I learned about it from @PowderedOui-OuiToastMan but I'm not seeing it now, just a count inside the user profile section:

I think it’s insane when you bug out for a couple days and your notifications shoot past 100 and that’s without email notification as well.

Mild squats aren't too bad. But the ones that you obviously can't see 30 feet in front of you and pool all of your oil in the back half of the pan makes no sense. If it is on hydraulics, that's different for just showing off and back to normal when you drive normally. To each their own with hydraulics. There's a couple trucks around town with at least 6"-8" of drop in the rear.

Looking to install this dash cam, does anyone have experience, or can point me to a thread of hard wiring one to the fuse box? Or tell me why this might be a bad idea and just stick to running it to a cig outlet?

The 'parking mode' seems like a nice feature to have. I was thinking of hardwiring, and then just turning off the cam when I'm parked at home to avoid draining the battery (if this is even a concern).

I've seen plenty of customer vehicles that have them wired to the dome light under the headliner.

I have that feature on the Corolla and I hate it for that reason alone. It's good on long straight stretches, but it's very hit or miss on curvy back roads. Every time it flashes someone I feel like it's trying to get my ass beat.

I rarely use it and it's really not that necessary when the car has LED headlamps already. That shit is bright enough.

These are what we’re getting instead of oem? I asked a couple weeks ago but never got a solid response.

Same. But they're leaking like crazy. I don't know if it's the axles fault or ours. @NickB_01TRD has them too.

I installed a power management module which prevents the cam from drawing the battery down too low:

    https://www.thedashcamstore.com/bla...RpVZnehQ1Iqxn7GWrdl3DJhedfdSmhFjHLpeXsWbpYWch

Elegant, but it turned out to be a complete waste of time and money because I've used the parking mode exactly twice.

The hard wire kit I got (Vantrue) seems to come with one, although I don't know how effective it really is. I park at home for a few days in a row during the week so I've read unplugging the cam lowers the draw greatly, so hopefully won't kill the battery which is what I'm really worried about.

I often drive up to crackhead central (Seattle) so I will definitely be using the parking mode for slight peace of mind.
