if you dont treat it like a truck, then what are you doing? Go get a shelby rampage or ford maverick. One of those mercedes trar’s would be cool if they can be had LHD. Sucks i wouldnt be able to merge while driving it.

Scored a new iPhone 13 w/one month plan for $115 today with no commitment from Cricket Wireless. It will either become my new backup phone or my trade in for a new IPhone 17 in November when my Xfinity mobile plan contract is complete. I don’t plan to give up the IPhone 14 Pro Max.

Our kids and kids to come have got it made. Sitting on fnt porch enjoying evening coolness, iPhone 12 in hand watching UT baseball. As a kid, use to press my ear against parents big ass stereo console as I slowly turned the dial to find Cardinals Baseball on radio….those were the days ?!

I don’t know about you but we had a TV in just about every room in the house as a kid (except our bedroom of course). You’d always hear one of my parents screaming “Don’t turn that dial so fast or you’ll break it!”. Haha

Update on my RMS leak. I put a couple hundred miles on the dash now, after putting in AT-205 in my oil. I degreased the area and drove about another 100+- miles. I checked the area now and there are no noticable drips of oil dangling from the housing. So far, so good.

Not hardly, 1 TV in Den a Zenith Console when they were # 1 and I was the remote or rabbit ear adjuster. When the horizontal or vertical tube would go out, Dad would send me to 7 Eleven to swap it out. We were still rotary dial and party lines should tell I've seen a few New Years

To be fair, I do see what looks like some looming liquid here, it looks freshly wet but that could also be from "before the treatment took effect". It's markedly better than what we were seeing prior.

Ah back when TV was also furniture. There was a UHF knob and a VHF knob, and I was the remote control.

You're right. There is a bit of seepage there. I plan on torquing the bolts to make sure that they are snug.

Put her to work again today cleaning out 2 years of neglect in the front garden bed. 10 hours to clear the clover and grass.
When I recover It's on to the driveway side.

Those sliders definitely paid for themselves. They sure did scream a lot.

Clover is good stuff, great nitrogen fixer. Has singlehandedly helped get my lawn back in order.

I used to want one of those. Ever since I saw this in the late 90s/early 2k era:

I think the skids worked harder than the sliders.

I had no idea 7-11 sold tubes. Definitely before my time but very interesting indeed.

Did you notice 7-11 changed that trailing “N” in their logo to be lowercase somewhat recently?

No, I have not. Haven’t been inside one in over 10 years. There are none around me where I am but I grew up a mile away from one.
