The white one is a Mitsubishi from the front badge. Can’t tell on the other two.

You probably got plenty of parts there to LS- or LM- or LQ-swap at least one of them.

That thing is tall with very few/small arms. I got to watch ours sprout two arms over the last 9 years in our yard

Did you know when they do move them/transplant them, it’s imperative they mark the north side of the cacti and when it gets replanted it has to be facing the same direction

When we live in Phoenix, we had a couple of chollas in the front yard. Neighbor threw a ball for my crazy lab to fetch and the dog ended up with its tongue pinned to the side of its face with several chollas nodes. Took me about about hour with pliers to remove the barbed spines.

I'm getting ready to tackle the valve cover gasket on Ravioli next weekend. I'll have to figure out where these little guys go. And if I even need to replace the old ones. "Oil hole cover and oil control plug"

    PXL_20250420_185246426.jpg

I replaced the cabin air filter today. I can't believe how fast they get this bad. This one only has 12-14k miles on it.

@gosolo uses all kinds of desert scrap to make knife handles. I got one of his that he used a prickly pear paddle skeleton in the handle. Works of art!

Probably a dead Buckhorn or Staghorn cholla. They suck but jumping cholla are worse.

That’s an absolute AMAZING looking knife handle! Very creative indeed.

Yes, i was down in Mexico, but it was more of a “work” trip so i didn’t have any extra time for any side trips. I’m located out west of the portland oregon area, and was helping a buddy drive down to Sanora mexico for the annual Sanora Rally. He manufactures rally navigation equipment, and the race director wanted him down there to be tech support for his product. I was simply a person who was helping him drive, carry equipment, and corral the racers. The race was 5 days long, so our days consisted of waking up at 5:30am, loading the routes into the racer’s electronic roadbooks, hanging out at the start line until about 9am, eat breakfast, drive 3~4 hours to the next bivouac, rest for a couple hours, then start tracking down the racers once again at the finish. Then repeat every day for the week. There was very little down time, but i still had a blast.
