Makes me think of the dust bowl I read about in the 30s during the Depression.

Back online after the big blow. Ended up being without power for about 30 hours.


Woke up yesterday and loaded the camper so that I could run my deep freezer off the inverter and solar. Cool to have that option. After the initial cool down of the freezer it was easily running on solar only.


Really jonesin to do some more work on the camper. It's been three years since the initial build, and was never really complete, just done enough to use.

 

That's cool, but imagine if you paint-matched your backboard.

Did you finish your rear bumper prototype?

 

That one ended up more or less a just for fun/practice/the love of the game. Got a few plate style designs in my head that I would like to explore next.

 

How much are original Patrick starfish worth? Got a set of three and a steelie...cause broke one.

 

About $25 a wheel in my market.

I really want to paint the set I have like this:

 

I got ~$100 for a set of four at the scrap yard in 2019 (where they belong)

 

Question, can a slightly bent rim be fixed and is it worth it if a new rim is about $320.. thanks

 

Take it to a shop that specializes in repair, and see what they say. maybe bite the bullet and buy a new one and use the damaged one as your spare
