Thanks for the info des! Rock lists several different numbers for the carrier bearing. Any input as to the best choice?

Well that's the third bearing for this application... The two Dana/Spicer that pull up off of the vehicle description seem to have a metal collar to protect the shaft. The one that Des references appears to be a rubbery type. As far as I can tell looking at the dimensions listed.. they all fits.. In this case I think that a soft touch is better..

There is a centering ball and spring that are a PITA to get right from what I've read, and parts availability is very questionable since it's technically "not serviceable". I've seen people get it apart to release they can't get it back together or damaged a piece. Unless you're certain it's bad and you are fine buying another driveshaft if you have to, leave it alone.

I typically order from Summit Racing, but NAPA has come through in a pinch, granted with all the markup you can expect from NAPA.

    Info on their u-joints:
    https://spicerparts.com/parts/driveshaft/automotive/spicer-light-vehicle-u-joints

    Part lookup for their u-joints:
    https://www.danaaftermarket.com/automotive/automotive-driveshaft/universal-joints/list?cat1=LVB&cat2=LV&cat3=UJ&filters=["SPL"]&filterObject=[{"name":"Brand","type":"STRING","values":["SPL"]}]&sort=1

I'm giving you both links so you can understand what your options are using the lookup tool.

I'd think you'd have a much easier time sourcing some nice seats from a Mustang that you'd find more comfortable and supportive than what you're currently dealing with...

In typical Bmf fashion, the wheel bearing on the sequoia axle drivers side is bad. Sequoia wheel bearings are quite a bit different.

Ok, so now I have questions. Is the sequoia axle the same diameter as the tundra axle? It looks like you have to cut the retainers and tone ring off like our trucks, but I'm not seeing them listed in the sequoia section. If they're the same, I can just buy the beck/arnley kit to get the retainers and tone ring cheaper than buying them separate.

I found the one on summit but they said light duty? I figured that my mall crawling would at least need heavy duty.
