Yeah I was thinking of bringing that up. He pulled that thing apart piece by piece the day after if I remember right so the water didn't have much time to cause major issues or corrosion.

I haven’t seen an old Lincoln/Ford like that in a long time. Continental I assume? Been a while since I remembered seeing one.

    Edit: Nope. Thunderbird.

As far as I know, it’s got the stock brakes. It might have the bigger calipers. His rears are probably adjusted to perfection, since he’s using the parking brake all the time.

I’d be he relies pretty heavily on the trailer brakes.

If I'm booking it in the left lane they usually move. People also slow down around me so it's kind of annoying.

That's at the next exit northbound on 27. We can stop by there next Merustober.

Damn why does it look like you got way more caster than I got.

Also, I've never hit the washer fluid reservoir fully stuffed so you should be Gucci.

You can tow pretty much as much weight as you want with any vehicle…as long as you have enough likes and subscriptions. No one is going to purposely watch youtoob videos just to see boring content. If videoing myself making stupid choices when towing could have made me money, over the course of my life i would have been a multimillionaire…possibly even a billionaire. One of the more dumb things was the time i hitched up a tow dolly on the back of my 2006 scion xB…then drove my second 2006 scion xB onto the dolly. I VERY narrowly made it out of my steep gravel driveway without crashing and totaling both of them. Then the only way back home was an 8 mile loop on steep windy back roads. It was a very high pucker factor the whole short trip. It would have made excellent video footage though. Point being, just because someone else is somehow getting away with it, it doesn’t mean it works well. I do admit that the picture with that car and trailer hitched up to his truck is entertaining to look at. I can’t imagine that his clutch will last that long.

I wonder if anyone here has ever done this upgrade to their 05+ 2uz.
76mm throttle to 84mm. Hmm. Too bad the Lexus RCF throttle body is a bit cost prohibitive. But seems like a potentially cool mod, for anyone with a supercharger, or long tubes and some other goodies. I wonder how much difference it makes, NA or FI?

    https://urdusa.com/urd-throttle-body-adapter-76-rcf-2uz-fe-4-7l-v8/
    upload_2025-2-24_0-30-34.jpg

I wonder if I swapped the 05+ intake manifold to the 03 with this mod and did the coolant bypass, if it would be worth it. Maybe I should just stay the course and save for the Bullet SC kit.
Still could be a later mod for the 06 though, if the price of the RCF TB comes down or I get lucky at a junk yard.

With stock valves and cams a larger throttlebody is a waste of money.

I've temporarily run trailer tires with similar bead damage, but the stakes are pretty low with that. On my truck? Hell to the naw.

You ever blow a steer tire at 65/70? It gets rowdy in a hurry.

Check the manufacture date for sure.

Personally I wouldn't run those, even on the back. If that bead breaks apart while driving that could be bad news. I ran over a piece of metal in the road on the interstate in my moms old minivan, it took out a rear tire. Was scary quickly.

I bought a tire with the same problem a month ago as a spare. It's more than twice as bad as the one you pictured. It was the only used tire in 265/75R16 they had so I bought it. It has held air so far but it's just a spare. You might want to doctor it up with rubber cement first, but I didn't on mine.

Keep trolling FB marketplace. I could get a decent set of wheels / tires around me for less than $500. When your done running them, resell them.
