Hopefully stick shift. Those trucks were weak with the standard v6 engine at least in the 4x4 configuration.

Well yeah they were a punk band... They did explode into fame with "Shipping Off To Boston" and got some songs featured in some movies and video games.
"Never Alone" was my introduction to them in 2000 on this PS1 game.

Every song on this game was badass.

Home Depot has been running a lot of deals lately. This is a really fair price. Lots of tools on clearance too.

Hey guys I’m having a high pitched noise while reversing. Thought it was the front wheel bearings but that didn’t fix it. I had my girlfriend drive while I tried to listen where the sound is coming from. It almost sounds like the carrier bearing but it’s only 2 years old maybe 15k miles (oem carrier bearing)

That game takes me back. The year was 2003. My soon to be wife, now ex wife, found out she was preggo. I was living with my friend in the trailerhood and she was with her friends in a trailer but not in the trailerhood. We kicked her friends out and took the 3 bed 2 bath 1k Sq ft house for ourselves, considering her grandad owned it. I made the 2nd bedroom, the smallest my "game room", with a 21" TV with a PS1 and a PC on a desk. I continued playing the sims and halflife on the PC, and Dave Mirra on the ps1. Shortly after that I took a job doing home theater installs and learned quite a bit about stuff. And things. I forgot where I was going with this.

    Meh.

I’d like to see some of the guys in your list back at it again.

I’m grateful we have Des, Dan, Assassin, Bubba and plenty of others I’m too lazy to mention b/c typing 1-handed on mobile.

With the frequency of that squeak I would say something in the driveline/drive shaft. Something making a full revolution that fast, amiright?

So did you get it? I've been a fan of Old spice deodorant since I was a kid. Back what it was still a respectable old man brand; not trying to be whatever hipster crap their commercials are now. But I still use their deodorant. I tried their body wash and wasn't impressed. The one I got smelled like dog shit while it was lathered on.

I thought "u-joint" initially, but literally takes 2 minutes per wheel to pop a wheel off and check the dust shield just to be 100% certain that's not the issue. Especially seeing it only happens in reverse.

The "tightness" of the squeak, i.e. how rapidly it cycles, speaks to u-joint / driveline.

Do you think it would only happen in reverse though if it was coming from the driveline?

when next to the truck the rear wheels aren’t making any noise it sounds like it’s coming from the middle of the truck like the driveline but idk what

Does it go away or change when you apply the brakes while reversing?
