Last night I was watching another 2UZ timing belt video and when he pulled off the thermostat housing it was full of coolant that had solidified. He mentioned the owners said it was overheating. He really glossed over the issue which surprised me.

Would this be the result of mixing two of the wrong types of coolant? If not, what caused this? And how one begin to desludge this? Looks like the stuff of nightmares.

Just looked this up for S&G, my rig came with green o_O. Fixed that when I foolishly grenaded my radiator.:anonymous:
Looks like it's a chemical reaction cooking up in there.

the UBJ is easy if you have 2 people. The hard part is lining everything up and getting things pressed in/out. Since it requires an impact and/or a breaker bar(if your impact is a baby) to get enough torque.

the second set of hands will make the job wayyyyy easier.

doing it by yourself is a PIA

I don’t hate these. Needs a better looking tire and maybe on a black or dark colored paint scheme.

High clearance rear bumper, but instead of stopping the body line cut at the rear arch, it continues to the back of the cab.

Basically just replace the bottom half of the bed with plate ala Marvin Heemeyer.

Putting my stock bed on temporarily feels like having a whole different truck, but I cant wait to dig back into the flatbed/camper stuff. With both off the truck i'll be able to work on them as one unit and really dial in the details.

The Basils Garage truck is rad. Definitely drew some inspiration from it.

This leaf pack/ airbag setup is way stiff without any load on it, I should air down the bags, but that bastard pack I built is pretty stiff on its own.

She will probably have the most success looking for customer service type roles. The downside is that those jobs kinda suck and don't pay a ton but she will get the flexibility of working from home and can use that experience to grow into something better. I would try Indeed or LinkedIn for her job search. You can use Glassdoor to vet a company if you're unsure.

They're also pretty unreliable/unpredictable. My sister is in a WFH customer service job and her company has outsourced their workforce overseas a few times on her. They have, so far, always was able to put her into a different program thankfully. Who knows how long that will last.

My wife is a Project manager and WFH, but these types of jobs typically require a degree in whatever field the role is in.

@Tundra2 be very weary. Any job that asks her to pay for equipment up front is a scam. Also, any job that holds interviews VIA Whatsapp is also likely a scam. WFH telecom jobs are riddled with scammers. If she has the time, a project management degree would be very useful in this type of role. A PMP certification would be helpful as well, but like I said earlier there are a lot of PM jobs that require a specific degree in Biology or Engineering. The PMP certification would be an add on.

There are courses you can take in medical coding that open up some WFH jobs that are decent and plentiful.

It's gotten pretty bad with scams everywhere.
At my work we all had to take several courses over the last 3 years about safety with our coms... and get constantly shit tested and evaluated on "our" vulnerability level etc... Phones/Email
It was amazing how BAD the numbers were when they started it (How ignorant and naive our workforce really was)
I just started declining ANY caller I didn't have labeled, and deleting ANY email that wasn't internal.
