Over landing is actually two separate words. Example sentences-
A- “i’m so overlanding from here on out.”

B- “i’m so over landing from here on out.”

Sentence B should be the correct one. Just make sure to leave a long pause between over and landing whenever you’re having a conversation with someone who’s into car camping.

Get it done sooner than later. But for now, get off your ass, change some diapers, and let that trooper rest/relax. Regardless whether she went naturally or c-section, give her at least a day or two of not having to deal with what just came out of her. She deserves it. We men can't fathom what it's like carrying around another life for damn near 10 months then expelling it from our body.

A lot of us on here a little farther down the road than you are can give tons of unsolicited advice. Here's mine, now the kids are 12 and 14.

Having a kid can test your relationship, and the tone/habits you set early on are legitimately going to dictate whether or not your marriage survives, or if it survives, whether it'll stay pleasant or not.

If you don't learn to treat that kid as a team sport, don't give her a break every now and then so she can breathe, forget everything for a few, sleep through a feeding or two, your life can become exponentially more difficult. It's a two way street. Just because she had the kid doesn't mean she's solely responsible for 90% of the care. That's a contract you entered when you threw your swimmers into the football game with nobody tending the end zone.

Your future months will now be broken up in 2-3 hour segments. If you communicate, plan, team up together, that can be 4-6 hour segments where you can get stuff done. Your 1st couple months, the kid won't sleep through the night. That means you won't sleep through the night either unless you work together on a schedule now. Back then, I was more of a night owl, so she'd go to bed at 8pm-9pm after giving the kid a bath and bottle, I'd pick up the 10pm-11pm feeding, then the 12-2am feeding, when I go to sleep and she grabs the next feeding, whenever that ends up being.

We learned the hard way, suffering almost 2 weeks of not getting any good sleep and being miserable before this genius idea hit one of us. First kid wanted boob, so we got a Medela pump to pump and freeze milk. 2nd kid preferred formula, which made it easier.

Other than that, the "Moms on Call" books are like the Owner's Manual for babies nobody ever invented. Great reference material. Highly recommend grabbing one, and flipping thru. It'll help you with planning and scheduling to get the kid sleeping thru the night faster than you'd expect.

Post-partum depression (PPD) is real. Know the signs. It happens to moms and dads alike, less common with dads. I had it and didn't know it until I made a very specific comment with my GP during a yearly visit, and she got her husband (they were in practice together) to ask me a few questions. It explained a lot of what I was feeling and doing after the 2nd kid got here, which was slightly out of character.

Do anything you can to avoid sleeping with the kid in the same room. Resist the urge! Never let the kid sleep in your bed. SIDS is real. I've met two different victims now.

Take lots of videos. They get big. Fast.

    Congrats dude.

Thank you, seriously. We’ve had to team up to even make it this far. I lost my mom a week ago and she’s been my rock and who we were leaning to for advice and help so just trying to navigate these waters is already harder than it was going to be. Both of us were already emotionally and physically tapped out. We’re truly grateful for any advice really.

I made a wrap for lunch.
Low carb tortilla, 2 slices of muenster cheese, romaine lettuce, pickles, and chicken salad.
    It was delicious.
Also went to DT not once, but twice today.

Yeah I do that all the time. But sometimes it's a treat to have the low carb tortilla in there. Usually I spread humus on it, then add the veggies, meat and cheese. But I didn't have any humus.

    I love lettuce wraps though.

Thanks. I'm just mad I didn't do more research. I thought all the FN Wheels Konigs were 106mm bore, but for some stupid reason these are 110mm, so my TRD center caps won't fit. I've been plenty of rigs with Konigs and TRD center caps. WTF they did these dirty at 110mm I don't understand. I'm waiting for the PO to find the Konig center caps for me. In the meantime I just emailed FN Wheels to see if I can buy them separately. I'm not holding my breath for either... I emailed them about two months ago, asking when they'd have the wheels I wanted back in stock and never got a reply. Which is why I went with the MST Time Attacks for my other truck. Which also don't fit my TRD center caps. At this point I might just sell em. I see them going for $150 a set now. I think I paid like $60 in 2018 for em.

I've seen all the laser light shows in the local planetarium (years ago), Dark side of the moon, Wish you were here, and The Wall. Some good trippy cool shit. Tried to find a video but none did any justice to the experience.

Never saw that before... pretty epic location. I wonder what the acoustics were like. That's an OLD venue! "Constructed in 70 BC" :eek2:
