I was just thinking the same. Except I didn't even scrap it, I just threw it away. I'm going to feel really dumb when it's time to rebuild my Kings and have nothing to throw in there in the meantime.

Thanks. I can't wait to get em installed with the Kenda 35's. I just wish the TRD center caps I been harboring for 6+ years would fit them.

Edit: I just remembered I have a buddy that can make vinyl decals with his printer. Maybe he can make some black circular decals with the red TRD font.

After driving a work van with sub par A/C for 12 years, I've learned to park facing north most of the year. Still do it to this day.

Those will become popular by next winter after a lot of people check out their rusted undercarriage come spring time.

My leather ain’t great, but it’s still pretty decent. It’s lived outside in then southern sun it’s whole life with factory tint, but I do use leather protectant occasionally. It was built in late 99, so 25 year old leather.

Daaaaamn that's a steal. If only I had the money

Yeah, I will say, my seat has had this bolster damage on the upper and lower since I bought the truck. Pics as-bought (bad one from wrong angle but it's what they sent before I drove there), and more recently below. It hasn't changed a hell of a lot. I really need to bounce over to the upholstery shop and have them give a quote on repairing the damaged panels.

Mine is similar to yours. My armrest is cracked and dry like dehydrated mud, though. And there is a nice poorly patched cigarette burn hole from the previous owner.

It took multiple chlorine bombs and Meguiars air refreshers to make it smell less like the bottom of an ash tray.

I’m gonna order the replacement upper and lowers off Scamazon and see how they hold up. Cheap enough to experiment.

I flipped the armrests to use the good bottom leather a while before I need to replace them.

Passeneger to driver, driver to passenger. The bottom is a bit narrower than the top, but I don't even notice anymore.

Leather cleaner/conditioner has significantly improved the condition of my seats. I use the Griots Garage cleaner/protectant twice a year, and it really works. The seats really soak it up every time I apply it. 100% would recommend.

I need to redo the drivers seat bottom pretty bad. But it'll never perfectly match the rest of the equally-faded interior, which will drive me nuts.

Rock Auto won't offer expedited shipping on my replacement radiator and won't ship a new one until I return the old one. They told me if I want the new one quickly I can pay extra for a faster shipping method. I guess their shitty C/S is how they keep prices low.

Got them 25 years of funky butt sweat and drink spill seats.....

Could probably pull the cloth and replace with those leathers I posted above for cheaper than a good set of seat covers or Katzkins.

Long before I knew about the LBJs, I ordered a pair from RA with grease zerks. One came designed w/o a zerk... flat out false advertising as the pic clearly showed a fitting. "Manufacturer considers the joint to have an equal service life"... pound sand. If I didn't use them so much and save so much money, ide have taken my my business elsewhere. Bastards.

Yeah those seats look great compared to what I'm talking about... but you know that. Out of the many hundreds of trucks I think I've seen 1 or 2 that look that good
I've always liked cloth. Maybe that's because leather back in my day was a luxury?

Again, this is why I'll always use Summit Racing if the price is in the same ballpark. Usually free shipping is available over $100, sometimes no tax, sometimes price is cheaper than RA, both are always cheaper than anywhere else. Big difference is, Summit doesn't play around.

I will say, though. When I ordered my Denso 130A alternator and it was cracked on the plastics, after shipping from the PAC NW for some strange reason and taking 6-8 days to get here, I sent pics of the box and alternator and they let me keep the alternator, filed a claim w/FedEx or USPS or whoever shipped, and sent me a new one, which got here out of S. Carolina in a couple of days.

Does Toyota sell the replacement foam for the seats or has that been obsolete for awhile? I’m starting to sink into the crevice behind the driver’s seat making it uncomfortable.

They sell it. You don't want to see the price associated with it.

It's foam. You can buy replacements online that'll work. Someone on here recommended a brand in a thread during the last 12 months but hell if I remember what it was. It was either a fleaBay or scAmazon purchase, IIRC.

Well the real question is getting the foam density correct and if any aftermarket manufacturers come close.

Yeah, I distinctly remember them saying the foam was the right rigidity. Just can't seem to find the post.
