Seriously though, I don't remember whose idea it was originally to make that thread. It might've actually been @bmf4069, at least, I feel like he's the one that egged me on several times to make such a thread. Which led to some polls on how we could clean up the stickies, then let to crunch time assembling all the info folks said they wanted to see in the thread.

That's awesome! @The Black Mamba had super-similar input on how transformative it was getting a new transmission in his 2000.

All my SHOs had them. Even the gf's has it, but it's like a capacitive touch on the door frame. Doesn't make sense since the doors unlock when you grab the handles.

Ok this was dubbed over the OG intro theme to Hardcore TV on Peacock... And I gotta say for a cheap replacement for the real thing (due to licensing) this song kicks so much ass.

Dude, I love that your kid looks so much like Lawrence. The older he gets, the more he looks like him. I mean that in an awesome way. Lawrence is a handsome MF.

 

Got a new to me whip the other day. Good friend of mine was offered 500 trade in on it. 146k miles and one family owned. Thing drives like it's on a cloud. Only negative is old man tan, but I'm not going to kick a gift horse in the mouth.

This one is an 04, and was dealer maintained it's entire life. Only issue is a bubbled up dash. I grabbed one from the junkyard for 30 bucks that looks like new and will get it swapped. He had new leather seats installed a couple of years ago, as the Texas sun had paid its toll. Has new tires. He also had a pioneer head unit with CarPlay done recently. Really a great car, I just don't care for the color. For $1500, I will make it work
