Is there a way to check the transmit power on these and adjust them?

Probably only if you let your truck sit in a snowstorm and that 1 ft drift of snow on your roof that you were too lazy to brush off slides onto the hood when you brake at a traffic light.

Interesting question. I feel like it would be hard to suck in much snow through there but I could be wrong.

Should have 3 settings: Low, Med and High... If you look at the upper left of the display screen (just to the right of the bar graph), you'll see L M or H to indicate which power setting you are on.

Press the menu button, scroll (with up and down arrows) until you find "Transmit Power" and then click menu button to access parameters (L M or H); once you've toggled to the desired setting click 'enter' (or may be menu button again if you don't have 'enter') to confirm that setting...

click menu again to go back to the main menu page and you should be set

Bought a cheapy jump pack yesterday since my vehicles like to die all the time. It has an air compressor too. POS didn't even come with a cord. The Haltech FB page said my batter voltage is too low at 11.4, so I figured I'd jump it and see what the deal is.

Alright. First side effect of the lift seems to be rearing its head. We got snow, so I put the truck in 4hi driving around a little bit and going to Walmart about a mile away. Took it back out of 4hi once everything started to melt and dry up. I started to notice a thunk when I am doing a sharp turn at slow speeds. It seems to be accentuated if there is a bump while turning. Perfect example is pulling into the driveway. I looked at everything and it all looks kosher. Inner cv boots are slinging a little grease, but not torn, and nothing crazy. Any ideas? Not sure if this is cold related or 4wd related or just normal shakedown stuff? I’ve probably driven 200 or 300 miles since the lift. Tie rods maybe? I didn’t install new ones with the lift.

Just got back from a 24hr whirlwind tour of Az because I needed it, and it'll probably be a few months before I can allocate some 'me time'.

I took the Tundra just because. I got 407 miles from a tank before filling up. I would estimate it could have probably gone another 20 miles or so before the needle was buried. Not bad.

Grease sling after lift is normal. You may end up needing to re-clamp the CV boots. But the new added angle will be harder on the CV axle itself, both are "normal" side effects of lifting.

What you describe with turning and CLUNK at slow speeds, this is while on concrete and in 4HI, or some other surface? With or without snow?

Boerne gas lasts way longer than houston gas. AZ gas lasted me for way longer. But i know how fuel pumps work, and drive backroads, so i got 250+ miles to half a tank (12 gal/200ish miles since i added the cap). I’ve taken a noticable hit in milage since the cap. But it resonates the exhaust better, so i might just be more playful with the throttle… maybe it was the high price & i was subconsciencly gentle with the throttle, but i ran an average of 16 in 3rd, pulling the popup @ 65-75 mph. From silvercity,nm to boerne,tx

    This is what gets me.

The mass-handout via the 2020 PPP loan scandal resulted in was, IIRC, like 12 million loans totalling ~800 BILLION dollars, and nearly 90% of those loans - Last credible number I saw was 750 BILLION dollars of "loans" to private businesses were forgiven. Tens of billions of dollars have been traced to recipients who didn't deserve and/or shouldn't have received money based on impartial and/or fraudulent requests.

I'll tell you what, I'm 5,000x less pissed off about whatever millions we may push toward an historic national public service that benefits the masses, when croney ass BS like dumping billions into the pockets of private citizens under the guise of "pandemic relief".

This is also what cracks me up about people who get all whiny-titty about student loan forgiveness. Somehow they're OK with handing out the better part of a trillion PPP dollars, with intentionally sketchy accounting at best, but you want to complain about student debt for citizens who were targeted victims of lending institutions, many of which paid their debt in full already (and then some), but have barely put a dent in the principal amount despite spending, in some cases, as much as a car payment or rent month on end for decades.

Why is it OK to forgive the business, but the citizen, who ultimately got their education and will empower business, gets screwed?

If you hold a blind eye to trillions of croney waste, but want to make a critical public service your talking point to get mad at, it's pretty clear to me you're being spoon fed propaganda. You are puppeting/parroting propaganda to distract from the bigger, more offensive waste, which is what actually pisses away our tax dollars, with little or nothing to show for it. And that waste, that sheepish talking point, is being delivered from the same entities writing hundreds of billions of dollars in checks to their buddies by way of programs like the PPP loan debacle.

Something is definitely a scam. It's not our national mail delivery service.

    More like "engineered job security".

I'll buy a VW, they're cheap enough to fix.
I'll never own a BMW, they're awesome driving machines, but they cost too much to fix, and have too much convolusion in their construction as a means to solution - like, makes the adage about 'climbing over a pile of virgins' seem sorely inadequate.

    www.catalogchoice.com

I signed up for an account, and started putting in "STOP" requests for the services via that website. They make it a 3-4 click process a few years ago when I did it.

It took about 3-4 months for the reduction to begin. We went from getting 3-5 pieces of junkmail a day down to getting 3-5 pieces per week. It's crazy.

Yeah Ive got new boots in the garage. I was gonna do them, but just didn’t have time the day of the lift. May do them later.

This is happening in 2hi on wet and dry.

EDIT: and it is possible that it’s a coincidence that I just started to notice this after using 4hi. It may have nothing to do with that. As a note - I have regularly used my 4wd with no issues since I got the truck, including 200ish miles while in Colorado.

A friend of mine is a federal agent. He has been investigating and prosecuting people for PPP loan fraud for the last two years. No where near done either.

Is the opening of the snorkel facing up?
I would think if it's facing down, you're fine. If it's facing sideways or up, you could put a shield over it. Kinda like URD offers for their true CAI for the second gen tacos.
