Mine is inaccurate. But consistently inaccurate. It's always about 1-1.5MPG optimistic.

Curious if correcting the speedometer would fix it.

I'm not sure. I'd bet you could cause damage by repeatedly clicking to really top it off. Using the aforementioned method, I think the fuel level still isn't all the way to the cap, like there's still air in there for vapor pressure. IDK. I haven't had an issue.

    Just filled up tonight, 176miles (+3.7% for 265s), 182.5/18.9gal = 9.65mpg.
Short commutes/and cold weather warm ups are killers

My last few fillups here, this is without correction for larger tires, so around 7% lower than actual? I forget the math.

4X4 tomorrow!:bananadance: We are finally getting a good rippin storm, 40-45mph winds, and right now it's coming down wet and heavy like a MFer.
Notice the 8-10 deg warm up as that wind comes over Lake Michigan and turns on the snow machine!

I don't see any reason not to.
It plugs into the OBD2 and I manually input fuel amount from the pump. The scangauge estimates fuel consumption, sometimes it's a little off and I manually correct it, sometimes it on point. And with the truck on 33's, I can manually set a speed correction that seems to be pretty accurate, so I don't have to add 9.2%. It's definitely not perfect, but it's good enough for me.

    Bigger tires?
You need to go into the settings and do the speed % correction, based on your % bigger tire size over stock. Only thing is it doesn't do decimals.for some reason. So 9% is as close as I can get to 9.2%.

Did you have to add a different sensor to get ATF temp? We all just have the idiot light right? Or can you just hook up to that sensor and get temp?
(Questions because I'm too lazy to research)

I did. But does the scangauge calculate the MPG estimates based off of the speed it gets from the OBDII, or from the value that you or I manually entered so we could see the real speed?

You have to imput a handful of numbers to get ATF temp to work- it's not plug and play. But the process is easy, takes 5 minutes and it works great afterwards. I really love my scangauge.

I may have appeared too excited haha. It's a mind game we play...
The cold is bearable, and it really forces the crazy people inside and quiets everything down a lot.
If it weren't for the salt.... So hey, Your truck will last longer with less exposure to salt:thumbsup:

Trust me, there's plenty of salt here. Since we get less snow here in Milwaukee, things just get really icy instead. It seems like they're spreading salt all day, every day.

I'd rather have a ton of snow and a ton of salt than just a ton of salt.

I was under the impression it was the value entered. But I'd ask linear logic to be sure.

Unfortunately for us 00-02 Tundra owners with the ISO 9141 OBD2 interface, the OBDLink MX+ doesn’t work for transmission temps, just the scangauge 2 due to someone’s ingenuity in figuring out an unofficial xguage code to get it to work.

Thanks man, It's looking like not more than a couple inches right now (TWSS). But every time I get to use the 4x4 I have a big grin. Mostly because this truck is the first I have had of my own with it. But secondly because I resurrected this truck and actually made it work... good in the feels.

My BlueDriver doesn't even show it as an input in live data...
funny story, I had been looking for a cheap device w/android 10 or newer (that's required) to just mount up for live data gauges. Wife gets a new phone, her old one A10e was android11 yay!!! But it would NOT connect, Complete buzzkill.
