Transborghini's. Probably kit cars. One was definately manual, but most of em sounded like flappy paddles.

They were cool when they were working with chrysler & before. Now they're a vw shaped like a doorstop.

Found a spent slug while out hiking. Based on where I am and how it mushroomed, guessing it either landed in sand or flesh.

Not really, you just gotta know how to keep it from going where you don't want it :D

Wrap your Willie (heat shrink) so to speak

All my switches on the silver truck were completing the negative (ground) side of the circuit so there wouldn't be any actual positive words coming into the cab

You could wire a switch inline in front of (electrically) the actual toggle switches that opens and closes the circuit going to your switch box if you have one

I wanna install a power antenna from a Land Cruiser in my fender. Here’s one from a similar year J100 I saw in Milano. Looks great to me. And if it only goes up when you turn on the radio, mine will stay down virtually all of the time.

Yeah, every one of the units had that character. Like the M in MPG, or the F for Fahrenheit, or the M in MPH. I wasn't able to unplug and replug as my scangauge cable is ziptied onto the OBD plug. The pins in the plug are worn out from a scanner being inserted so many times that it won't read unless there's something holding the cable in. Likely would've solved it though- it didn't do it the next time I turned it on.

I only have MPH because you can adjust it in the settings so you can see an accurate MPH reading. Nice for all the highway driving I do. That MPG reading is also pretty disappointing- I've found that the scangauge reads about 1 MPG optimistic. Ideally that number is closer to 19 or 19.5 at 70 MPH.

I too noticed the mention of 17's and up on the Solo's, but not the TC's. Which I didn't think anything of until you mentioned it. So I decided to contact Mr. Wong and ask what he was running. He's got 16's, so all good

I just figured worse case scenario I'd have to wait longer to install, since I won't be buying wheels and tires just yet.

Well I noticed my truck stumble a little from a stop and at low speeds omw home from work this morning. No CEL yet, but that P0172 is back (pending this time) and it brought it's friends P2196, P2198, & P0175 (also pending).
This seems to only happen when I let it idle to warm up before I start driving.
Everything points to rich fuel mixture.
I'm going to clean the MAF and knock the dust out of the filter, to see if that helps.
Maybe I'll see if @texoma can re-tune my truck this weekend.

That stinks. This is my fear with any mods. I want them to add function without taking away reliability. I'm always afraid I'll swap in something for more performance, and then be stuck with issues. Hope you get yours sorted.

    Will do.
Gotta grab MAF cleaner now. Mine is out of aerosol, but the can is more than half full. I guess sitting in the garage in Texas heat for ten or so years will do that lol. Luckily I love a block from two auto parts stores

Am I just anxious, or does Toyota usually have their Black Friday special on parts runnin' by now? Maybe seeing all the Black Friday deals running the whole month of November is driving my brain insane waiting for the parts deal to drop.

It's been running great for about a year. I think the MAF and filter were choking the engine after Merus. Panhandle dust ain't no joke. And I was doing donuts in the dirt lol.
Ran it for about ten mins around town and hiway after cleaning and it feels better. Going to change the oil and maybe do the aerosol seafoam treatment I have laying around, and clean the butterfly.

Disconnect the positive terminal and connect a 1 ohm 10 watt resistor between the positive terminal and ground for a few minutes. That's what I do but I know nothing of electronics.
