They’re individual pods, but linked together and mount like one light bar.

Just got my Powerstop brake hose refund.

Which is awesome not only because it’s $80 out of nowhere, but because my hoses look great and don’t leak. Going to keep an eye on them though. Confirmed today that the low brake fluid light works.

Yeah. Think of it more like brotherly love, where one brother is cool and the other sits in the corner eating crayons. We all know which is which...

Tradition of my usual wheeling buddies is to go the weekend after Thanksgiving. Last year was the first one I missed since 2019

I ordered a pair of the cheapest lamps that Rock auto offers. You know the ones labelled VARIOUS MFR

Heres what they have to say about it:
Various Manufacturer product is sourced from manufacturers such as TYC, TYG, DEPO (MaxZone), and Eagle Eyes. Sometimes our warehouse's inventory may have the same part from two or more manufacturers, which is why we cannot guarantee which brand you'll receive.

    Maybe I will score some Depo's :D

Any reason you didn't switch up to something like these?

Im building some fiberglass side boxes to fill the gap/notch between the bed and the camper. I plan to integrate the oem tail lamps into into the rear corners of said boxes. This will put the lamps at almost the oem locations. Just a fun/cool detail.

I'll use the cheap lamps for that process as they will inevitably get some epoxy and fiberglass mess on them. After paint and bodywork I can swap in some nice OEM units.

Edit. A picture is worth 1000 words.

Damn, now we've gotta come up with a new bed style name just for you. I guess the 1st gen now has Fleetside, Stepside, and Jakeside.

Working on a lock box project that I hope to share here when it's complete. I removed one of the mounting bolts from the bottom-inside of the basic center console. The EPC DATA site says the part number is 90080-11372, but just describes it as "**STD PART". It has a 10mm head, is 5.8mm in diameter, and has 29.43mm overall height. I'm going to need some longer bolts to replace these. Can anyone tell me what description I should search for at the local hardware store?

"Captive washer" is the key term you'll be hunting. But you may find it in a variety of verbiage:

    Bolt & captive washer
Hex head screw with captive washer
    Captive washer cap screw
    Captive fastener
    etc...

But note: Body/bumper bolts are very similar. Lookup "SEMS body bumper washer", you'll see what I mean.

"SEMS" just identifies it as having a captive washer, but the bolts typically have conical or centering tips on them making install easier.
