Not from Toyota/Chinook, but as you can imagine there are some homemade conversions out there. 1978 Toyota hadn't yet built a 4wd pickup.

    Definitely!

Oh man. All my photo albums are stranded on a laptop with a dead screen, and I've been lazy about recovering them. Found some photos I posted on another forum so I'm loving finding some of my old photos.

try plugging in a monitor to it? If you're lucky the computer is set to duplicate screen.

Yep. Just a matter of remembering to bring it to a friend's, or borrowing a spare monitor. Clearly hasn't been enough of a priority.

It's amazing the roads I got that thing down, as is, even with the long wheelbase. But I also got myself into trouble now and then...

I think a true full-size would have been good for this camper. The smaller, pop-up Chinooks are perfect for our Tundras.

Not yet. Jake and Dale came by to check it out and we're of the opinion in needs a new tensioner and a retune to adjust for the lower altitude/higher air density. Jake thinks it's reaching peak boost and cutting out. I agree. So I'm taking it to Boost Performance tomorrow so the can look at it.

I bet the crackhead theif neighbor is probably tweaking right now about the undercover parked next door.

I'm shocked with all those fucking lip fillers, some of these people's faces don't explode on impact.

Dude. Display cable to a TV or other external monitor and done.

Sorry man, but that's every Husky. They're all assholes. If ever there was a dog breed which was naturally demented, it's Huskies. They're one big 'ol asshole through nd through.

You just described every Husky on the planet, ever. They're literally so notoriously shitheads, there's hundreds of videos on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=husky+being+an+asshole

They especially seem to love stomping shit to death.

Source: My NASCAR straight-line racing aunt in LV rescues them. They were so jealous when we came to visit last time, that within 5 minutes of us putting our luggage in the guest room, they came in and shit in several places. Fucking assholes.

I gave it a shot, but after thinking about a 5vz swap, and then a 3rd gen taco to put the camper in, I ended up in the tundra. Trying to keep that same feel alive though.

The "Toyota World Runners" rig is my favorite modernized version.

You know what's worse than huskys? Siamese cats. They're essentially a husky OS in feline hardware. Loud, check. Yell at you for everything, check. Get the zoomies at the worst times/ 0300 and just run over your face, check. Will wake you up by stabbing your beard with razor sharp talons, check. Will destroy your stuff by throwing it in the ground, check. Have zero fucks to give about your existence unless they need/ want something, check. Hate everyone/ thing, also check.

At least huskys will let you boop their noses and are funny.

I got a rescue and she ended up being part blue heeler and husky.

She's a handful, we went for a 3 mile run then she slept for 10 minutes and was ready to go again.

:) It's all about priorities. Not that anyone cares, but since we're talking about it...I've always been hesitant to store photos on the cloud. So they're: on my Macbook, and on an external mac-formatted hard drive. IF I decide to continue avoiding the cloud, that means connecting to an external monitor would only allow me to view my photos, not actually transfer them anywhere. Transferring the photos will require either deciding to use the cloud (and connecting to an external monitor), or buying a new Macbook, which is just too damn expensive. I have an ipad with nowhere near enough storage for all my photos, and my work PC laptop.

I will likely, eventually, borrow a monitor, connect, and transfer my photos to the cloud. Till then, I'll just occasionally think about it.
