Not really a need for it unless you want to avoid driver arm tanning.

    Y'all don't have a sun?
My black truck gets hot AF.
I left an unopened soda in it once and it exploded.
Did the same in my white truck and it did nothing.
I'm going to strip my tint and install ceramic tint one of these days

I spent in what my opinion is ludicrous money for xpel ceramic tint. It’s the only tint where I’ve felt like I got my money’s worth. Would I do it again? Probably not, but it works better than any other tint I’ve had. 45% on the windshield and 5% all around. I’ll probably go to 10-15% on the front windows if I ever change.

45% on your windshield? We can’t go any lower than 95% here. 35% on the side windows.

We can’t have anything below the AS1 line. Don’t really care cause the short cab allows enough light in, but I like the privacy with how much I’m in this truck. I did almost 30K miles in the last year and that’s carpooling.

Ours is no lower than 25% for the front drive and passenger side windows, back windows have no limit. Windshield has no limit, if above the AS1 line.

I might be mistaken on the 95% here although I know of 2 people who had it done (not legitimately) and raved about it.

I have no idea if you can do the entire windshield here legally and if there's a tint limit.

Probably not legally but it supposedly helps cut headlight glare noticeably at night.

Some punkass(holes) can't handle being called out with actual facts. Pucks was on here with an alias spouting off the same bullshit recently. Some people are just cancer.

Maybe? Hell if I know. Wouldn't surprise me.

I just remember Pucks had an alias on here recently and was trying to feed everyone that EACT line, talking gobs of shit about how Aisin you buy direct is not the same quality/product sold at the dealership. I called BS on it, as did others.

But I've also seen two or three side-by-side photos in the past of Aisin right out of the box next to dealership part right out of the bag, and it was identical. I've also seen side-by-side of authentic Aisin out of the box next to factory-pulled-off-the-engine and they were virtually identical, minus some casting changes you'd expect after a decade or two.

He is 100% trying to keep income coming in. But my real question is HOW is he getting a hold of "genuine" Toyota parts and is able to let them go for roughly the same price I get shit for (whole sale + 10%)

    it's VERY sus to me.

edit:: imo the most logical explanation is he works at a dealership and his manager (or he is the parts manager) is using FB to sell parts and he's writing up invoices like they were sales for his dept. so he's making Comission and possibly extra $$ from the parts he sells.

I'm probably wrong but yea. My stoned brain started TURNING when he was hella defensive about the whole AISIN/Toyota thing
