Been spending all my free time with the kids, so haven't worked on it. Got my holes filled, scuff sanded, ready for bondo skim, but I'm all out of Rage, need to order some (unless anyone has good reco for small container of locally-available filler?). Only need about 1/4 cup of actual product.

IIRC, it was only easily doable if you had one of the later 5AT trucks ('05-'06). Something about mating.

Thank you! (edit) That all makes sense being that Frenchy has an 06 nd also why the T4R T-case didn't bolt up properly to ethans also not being an A340 trans.

Ima add these new knobs make the turning of the hvac controls feel very good. You get that feedback a nice keyboard give you. I know that's kinda weird but yea. If you're into that kinda thing. IMG_4696.jpg

I didn't know there were incriminates on the temp. Lol

Road trip with the kids? Greenville is a fun small city. I love going there for work.

Does your audio unit have a USB in the back? If so, wireless BT CarPlay dongles are the shit. No wires (unless you need it for charging) and auto connects. I absolutely love mine. I did route the usb into the cigarette lighter spot so that I could unplug the dongle and use the cord (for charging) if need be.

The early Tundras basically were F150 rip offs.

Yes, the dongle uses BT to give you the option of wireless CarPlay, unless your unit does wireless CarPlay. In that case, disregard my post XD

My brother had that gen Ford but in white. It made it well over 200k miles but took a lot of work to get there. I think their weakness was something with the intake manifold?

The plastic intakes on the 4.6's would crack the coolant crossover pipe. Had a buddys crown vic suffer that.

@Mr.bee Happy Birfday Mang. Many many more.

I purchased the Ferd-like knobs and they work well. @FishNinja nailed it. It's like going to a clicky mechanical keyboard. You can feel the detent more when changing the settings. 'Tis good.

Do they make an automated coffee tray that will pop open and close automatically from the dash? I hate pulling mine out and having to whip it back in there.

    Happy B-day there though.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I suppose i could buy myself a $15 birth cake for myself and eat it in the truck. The last $5 i could spend going to the car wash and vacuum out all the dropped cake crumbs from between the seats.

That’s absolutely hilarious. It reminds me of the time in my late teens when my buddy and i went to the indian reservation to buy the good fireworks. We went to one stand and told the guy we wanted the BIG firworks. He told us to go see his cousin at a different stand. So we went there and told his cousin that we wanted the BIG fireworks. He too told us to go see yet a different cousin at a different booth. My buddy and i finally tracked down the cousin. We told him we wanted the REALLY BIG fireworks. He asked, “how big?” I told him i wanted them big enough to blow off my fingers! The indian cousin got a smirk on his face and a twinkle in his eye, then slowly pulled both hands out of his pockets and said, “you mean like this?” He had something like two fingers missing on one hand, and three more missing on the other! My buddy and i both looked at his hands and our mouths just dropped, then we looked at each other, then look at the indian and exclaimed, “YES, THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT WE’RE AFTER!!!”

About to break in half. It could get a new frame from toyota covered by recall but man you're still left with a nasty interior, no bed, and a V6
