Is that a Tundra cab with a Tacoma bed? It looks off. Why the front half look bigger than the back half? Lol.

    Just picked up these
    IMG_4610.jpg

they were free. Dealership I work at took them off a fleet truck and they went into the dumpster. Then into the bed of my truck lol

Side steps off a single cab f150. Plan is to cut and weld them together to make a new rear bumper. I'll probably find some 3/16"awg or 1/2"awg square/rectangle tube to tuck behind it so it can be the "fuck you for rear ending me damaged multiplier 9000"

Not unless you did some serious reinforcement. At that point you'd be better off with DOM and building sliders

It's amazing what dealerships toss. Mine throws away whole toolboxes. I don't understand why they wouldn't just sell them with the truck, unless the box didn't have keys.

It is a pretty stout idea. Would love to see it come together.

Also I was calling back to the "they're my nerf bars I'll use than how I see fit" comment a few days ago lol.

there are things I have snagged outta this dumpster I don't talk about. It really is crazy what will be in a dealerships "metal dumpster" on any given day.

issue is getting to it before a engine block or something crazy heavy gets dumped on top of it.

contracted distribution driver. It's a larger dealership. So it's Lincoln, Mazda, Subaru, and 2 collision centers

I move parts back and fourth between the dealerships for techs/sales

Yea. We got parts coming in from fucking everywhere. Most of the time, those parts your dealership sends, wind up on my truck to get divided up amongst the other dealerships.

actually. You should start trying to write "mamba" somewhere on the boxes if they're coming to NP. I'll look for it. Hahah

I bet we could somehow figure out a way to use the Subaru parts co-op to tundra express parts from DFW to SA and back

So I bought the leaf spring shackles from OK4WD on the 29th. They just now shipped. For the price they charged me for shipping they sure as fuck take their sweet time. I have emailed them in response to the email they sent me saying my order status has changed before this shipping notification like 3 days ago. Never responded to what the status change was. I will not be buying from them again.

I won't indeed. I only want a simple roofline hard top to camp in until I can afford to bob my bed and buy a small camper trailer. I don't want my center of gravity to get fucked and I want my beautiful truck to keep its streamlined look.
