If yours is rusted out, then yes. But you have everything you need on yours as long as it’s still in good shape

growing up on a farm, my shins always had to contend with trailer hitches. It always hurt like heck when i’d get a shinner like the guy in the video....until after i started skating and rollerblading. I was big into grinding handrails for many years, so my shins soon became numb to pain after many failed rail slide attempts. My shins still have enough scars on them, that based on aesthetics alone i won’t be getting any dates on a saturday night. And if i did, i’d have to keep my pants on in order not to frighten anyone. One bonus is that my shins became pretty darn tough. My friend left his hitch in the back of his receiver, and i accidentally smacked it with my shin super hard. It make a loud enough “clang” that my friend’s eyes got really big. He asked if i was ok, and i was like, yeah man, it doesn’t even hurt at all. I haven’t skated for many years, so who knows if i have shins harder than steel anymore though. I’d prefer to not find out the hard way.

The owner of that trucks brings up a point of why the rear is slightly narrower than the front. It adds to the stability of the truck.

makes me think about maybe removing my rear wheel spacers to achieve the same effect. Maybe help tighten up how the ole' girl handles

Thats one of my few gripes with my truck as it sits. The rear wheels are sunk deep into the massive rear wheel wells. Probably won't be noticeable when I get the ute bed built, but damn it looks terrible.

Its something like 2.5" to 3" recessed from the flares. Might not be as bad as I remembered, but Id prefer flush or just a tiny bit of poke. The snowflake's offset isn't helping either.

I know we're all just talkin' shit, but that's really too bad; as a truck that's made in the USA (in San Antonio!) I am rooting for it to do well. This also just proves my theory that you never buy the first year of a new vehicle or new generation of vehicle until you know what's what. We sold our 2021 Sequoia Platinum 4x4 recently and really looked at the newer-gen ones but it was like.....nah, too early still (plus the reduced leg room in the third row for the batteries was off-putting). If I wanted another vehicle with an loljk, unusable back seat (except for double-amputee hobbits), I've got the Best-Gen-Best-Cab for that!

I'm in the industry and this is a correct view. The first year(s) of a new model are the recall years. It's where they work out the kinks and fix any major issues. The Tundra was a huge redesign and it's probably going to take a while to work out the kinks.

The Camry just had a new redesign and I love the way it looks now. I love my 98 Camry but damn.....it's slick.

Looking for some opinions here. What would be the better fix; Either getting off-road lower control arms with poly bushings, or just keeping my OEMs and putting a new bushings in them?

I was under my truck today and I noticed that my front lower control arm bushings are both very wore.

depends on how much labor you wanna invest. Rumor is LCA bushings are a pain to get out. Do I know by first hand experience? No. Have I pressed bushing before? Yes. In my experience; If they're THAT worn they may just pop out? But if it has any meat left over it maybe the pain that everybody talks about. And then it would just be easier to swap the arms

A lot of guys around here recommend replacing the whole assembly which never made sense to me. I guess its the pressing out/in that's the real issue.

I picked up a set of energy/daystar poly bushings to go in mine. You have torch out the old rubbers to do so, leaving the oem steel sleeve. Just another Tuesday for some of us.

Heard good things about Siberian bushings out of the eastern bloc. Russia maybe? Not much cheaper than oem and same install with the pressing. Oh and customs fee's.

Fine print: I am an idiot, don't trust me.
