Shit yeah, if I can get some more leg room, mpgs be damned. I've seen a few 2015's (what's that, 2.5?) that look pretty sexy, but it's too new for me. I don't think I could work on it lol.

Now that's the kind of outside the box thinking I like!

Had one of these GMC Safari EXT when the (uhhh whats that saying, oh yeah) Crotch Fruit  were young.
4.3 was decent but valve guides went bad (@ 90k ish) so puff puff smoke every morning. Dutch rear doors were pretty sweet.

If your talking to me Bee, it wasn't awd it was only rwd. I HATE the fact that my wifes Edge is All time AWD. It will prob be the reason we dump it before that driveline goes to shit.

    I'd personally love a RCSB 5.7.
Doesn't matter if 2wd or 4wd. I could make a sick build out of either one in totally opposite directions. Magnuson SC would be a must.

I liked 2.0’s when they came out. But if I could stomach the cost, I’d pony up for a 2016-2021 DC in quicksand. Would be a spacious family hauler. Just kind of useless bed so I lean Sequoia and that jacks up the price even more so I just stop thinking about it.

My plan for the ‘05 once done is a 2 seater EV w RSI flatbed. Hopefully zoom. Should be pretty light. Already nimble. Just lacks balls. Hybrid or straight gas for road trips but prolly leave the tank at 1/4 or less on ethanol free if I establish the FWD hybrid for in town. Really hopping it makes an ICE w supercharger feel slow. But we will see.

Which ev battery are you considering & where would you mount it?

nissan leaf battery would be cool mounted under the bed where the spare hangs.

how about a 1st gen Sequoia. Not ugly, familiar under the hood, relative bargain priced around here. Rear hatch latch issue is common & easy to fix.

Hybrid battery pack (2nd gen Prius pictured) would fit in so much more easily & I'm sure Waaaay cheaper at ~ $2k.

Anyone have any experience with the 2000-2010 rav4s?
Helping my lady look for a sub $10k toyota and she really wants a rav4 so that puts us in those years. Currently researching around, maybe I'll join a Rav4 forum :anonymous:

4.88s are feeling pretty great. It's time to get a new battery though, got seven years out of this AGM.
