This or a Corolla or Prius is ultimately what I'll be hunting for, for the kid over the next 18mos or so.

nahhh I got a less than perfect CRV and it still worth ~$5k maybe due to its size? But reliable vehicles that you can work on yourself/not go to a dealer are still gonna hold value more than the newer vehicles.

In all honesty, I'm probably too cheap for what he'd be asking on such a fine specimen :D

That, and the thought of trying to bust free a rust-belt O2 sensor is none too enticing for me, and I can't pass emissions with that specific CEL down here.

Price you quoted is waaaay too rich for my blood, but there's someone out there for sure.

Haha, I just did the exhaust (manifolds and all, everything) 4-16-22, so I won't have an issue when I replace that O2. It's been at a parking lot high traffic since early this morning... and no calls/texts.
I won't be upset keeping it at all.

Looked like that -20% is only on clearance parts? I only see a roof rack and black TRD wheels for Hulk. Am I reading it wrong?

It's 20% all parts, not the clearance parts. It's kind of confusing because you don't see the sale price until you go to checkout. But the final sale price on parts ends up being cheaper than McGeorge/Ourisman.

Here's the price for a LBJ (43340-39356) with the sale

You have to go to checkout to see Serra's final sale price. I couldn't get the usual free shipping code for Ourisman to work.

    LBJ (43340-39356) from Ourisman:

What parts are you looking at and did you put them in the cart to checkout and see the extra 20% their usually 30% off. Looks like that LBJ is $92.14 at Ourisman plus shipping but $78.47 at Serra?

Ahhhh....you guys are right! I did it wrong. I must have misread/misunderstood Serra's sale details. I was under the impression that the Serra final sale price was once you put the items in the shopping cart. Once i went to the checkout, then an additional 20% was lopped off their price. Thank you for clearing that up and setting me straight. I'm going to erase my posting above so that it doesn't confuse anyone else!

Nobody wants a chinese 'power station'. Rather build it themselves with parts from chi na.

And zero tax and free shipping. You can't beat $75 for an LBJ. @2005tundra4.7 probably needs to see that. https://autoparts.serratoyota.com/

I guess I should go on there and price out the power steering fluid reservoir, see if its' closer to the $75-100 range.

Hmmm. I may remove the license plate surround and proceed with this one. Dilemmas, dilemmas. Basically 50% off MSRP, shipped. Was $347-something at Ourisman IIRC.

Aight, I'm a glutton for spending money. Screw it. My passenger slide bumper plastics have been shot for a while now, they don't clamp down properly. Maybe I can swap out my reservoir then clean up and sell the old assembly.= for $75 or something.

Hey guys, hot weather incoming and I was thinking about trying to clean off my A/C coils. I took off the blower controller and took a picture and yeah they’re pretty nasty. I saw some videos about just cleaning it via the opening where the blower controller is, but honestly I just feel like I’d only get 1/3 of it cleaned off. Has anyone tried to just pull the “lower unit case” (see manual pic) and clean it from the bottom side? I’d probably just put a foil pan or something under there to catch all the crap. Also that “packing” for the vents is probably reusable right? Even though it says it isn’t…

If the 'packing' is foam i'd doubt it. My foam fell apart when i pulled the driver side & ball chiller duct. My foam just disintegrated. I got a roll of some tape-backed foam from walmart that worked like a champ.

Read the stickied parts system search, input my VIN into that epc data site, and also the Serra site, I find my LBJs on the epc data site, copy that parts number over to the Serra site, but then well no that line on the diagram pointing directly goddam at the thing is actually some other thing, or there are four fucking options with no pictures or explanations of what the difference is. No idea how you guys fuck around with this!
