I use NiLight. 1/8 of the price of Baja. And bright enough to actually be functional. I'll take a night pic of my fog/ditch lights beaming. Annddd they were dumb easy to wire up.

Had an experience with a bad battery that was so weird I was in denial that it could have even been the problem. I know every time someone on here has weird electrical issues someone tells them to have their battery checked to make sure that's not what's causing the issue.

Was cutting grass when the mower shut off and wouldn't crank. Unit has two fuses on it and one had blown and partially melted the holder it sits in. Thought it was a shorted wire and after investigating I did find some ate up wires from mice and thought for sure that was the culprit.
    20240521_172020.jpg

Battery was dead so I had to jump it and didn't think much of it only to find after just a few minutes the battery was fully charged again. That's when I could hear @shifty` in my ear telling me to get the battery tested before I dove into anything crazy.

Sure enough battery tested bad and from what I can figure it was pushing a ton of amps to the battery trying to charge it and was maxing out the charging circuit.

If you've got weird electrical issues check your battery and/or your terminals, whether it's a Tundra or a lawnmower.

At least you didn't hear @because_wumbo-truck in your ear telling you to check the fuel pump:rofl:

It's typically free and only causes you time, and potentially a trip to the store.

I'm stoked I managed to score (steal, practically) a professional tester for dirt cheap on Goodwill's auction site. Never need to go to the store again. So far, we've diagnosed bad batt in two neighbor's vehicles. Even works to diag AGM batteries. Pretty awesome.

It's the fuel filter. Gotta be the fuel filter.

hey, does anyone know if its possible to combine 2 500w inverters into a 1000w inverter? Like if i needed to run a 900w coffee maker? Would the waves sync? Mostly just curious.

Won't work. The sine waves would be different. However, you should try it. For science.

Yeah and that could work, but it could also turn off potential customers.
    I'd say it's a coin toss.
Maybe you don't want those customers anyways haha

We’ll gladly modify it for you to be synced to the same external frequency. Our power engineers design them all the time.

For 3 man months of labor including design reviews it will run you $60k at a rate of $20k/month.
    Cheers.

That was my first thought, but BMF could be right about the waves. I would ensure that both are either pure sine or both modified sine. Or just buy a real pure sine wave inverter like mine and call it good.

Everyone in my family thinks my truck is a Tacoma because it isn't overly bloated like a 3rd gen Tundra. Funny thing is, only other guy in my family with a truck drives an old S10.

A budy of mine at work used to do forestry/tree work. Took a pulsing poke from a secondary through a branch... 25-28k??? He lived to tell it's no joke. Maybe Bee shouldn't do it, or at least wait to heal from the last adventure?

I’m just being overdramatic. It’s only 120VAC. Worst he could do is short it out and cause a fire, but there’s always a chance of electrocution.

Asphalt & 120v cant do it. I'd need to find something stronger.

I was just curious, i have a 500w inverter, but it cant really power much.

not JUST coffee. I have a 1500w griddle or maybe a small window unit. Nothing concrete yet.

    Really really OEM
I will wholely second NiLight bars, pods and puddle lights. They are cheap/ affordable, decently built, and the LEDs hold up. My light bars on my TDI Wagen a 27 inch lower air damn and the 47 inch upper roof rack light bar lasted with no loss in projection or brightness up till the car got totaled. 10 outta 10 for the money

So, as so many people are just thinking about leaving there miserable jobs/lives this weekend and getting hammered on who knows what substances, and acting a fool... I just want to take a second to thank all Fallen(RIP)/Former/and current men and women who have served/serving our country.
