I can't my fence door isn't wide enough, I'm gonna need a drop pump. It was my first thought, then I measured the door, and its a solid no go

Had a truck bring some out before and still had to dump it one barrow at a time and didn't use a boom but IIRC was like a yard total.

I'm curious to see if short shot plus install wider gate is cheaper than a pumper truck delivery. Is there room to widen the gate? Seem like a narrow gate is the sort of thing that is annoying many times over a lifetime in a house.

I'm pretty sure they'll charge you extra for a small load. I don't remember off hand how much a small load is though. 2 yards is about 90 80lb bags of quickrete, so that's probably a no go. I forsee many trips with a wheelbarrow in your future.

A pump truck is stupid expensive. Think over $1k an hour. I doubt they'd even come out for anything less than a 5,000 ft² pad. Can you take a section of fence down to get a shorty trailer in there? A warning though, they're a bitch to back up. I had to back one up to an 18" wide pole light base in my work van. Took me about 1/2 an hour to get it spot on.

Edit: I looked it up. Says it's usually around $800 and hour to rent one. I imagine they'll have a minimum of 4 hours or so. Maybe 2. We always charged gate to gate(time we left till time we got back) for heavy equipment.

Around here the redy mix places have a four yard minimum. You can get a single yard delivered, but it will cost you the same as getting 4. Current rate is around $130 a yard for standard mix design at 3500psi.

Are you planning on placing and finishing yourself?

A small crew could knock out the whole job (form/pour/finish) in an afternoon.

South Texas has A LOT of pump companies, but I don't think anyone is coming out for 2 yards. A trailer pump/line pump is what you would be looking for.

This. Pricing will vary wildly based on location.

It might be a bit slower and laborious but could you get 90ish bags of quickrete delivered and hire some cheap labourers to haul it in and help mix and spread it? Might be cheaper overall than the other options just be a bit more work.

I'm not sure yet. There are so many now. 3-4 new ones since I was last here. Some legitimately scare me. They have two wooden coasters that are really good.

About to get on the Mystery Mine.

Lol I thought of that as well. But I'm just gonna do a pole barn style construction. It's the easiest way.

Makes sense. Shouldn't be hard to find cheap labor. Just pull up to Home Depot and see who wants to ride in the truck bed.

Forged Weisco Pistons and bearings, JE forged H-Beam rods, add a dual core intercooler, swap the terbskis out for a T4 30mm VGT diesel turbo, make all fasteners ARP bolts and studs, put a Walbro 430 in the tank and put in 12 holes, and the have it set to 12 to 15 psi. Looking for about 500H/ 450+ T at the rear wheels.

Realistically this can be done for about 7100 with a tune. She won't be that fast with the 4.08s but my God will she pull.
