i bought a stand on mini skid. It's just going to be cheaper than renting one for the amount of project I have. I'm getting decent with it. Way faster & makes Honey-Do work fun.

They are, especially in a situation like this.

Here's an idea since you are using a sod cutter. Get a pallet and neatly stack the sod on the pallet as you remove it. List it as free on your local fb/craigslist etc. You may not have to haul it at all.

Bro, I can't afford it on my truck when the brakes are awesome. If I had as much power vs. weight in my truck as he has in the MR2, that would be a different story. I'd love to get my hands on some of the 1st Gen TRD/BBK calipers in rebuildable shape, though. If I saw a pair that wasn't fucking outlandishly priced, I'd hop on it.

It's what I ride. I love the damn thing too. Lightest MTB this old-but-not-yet-your-age-fart has ever ridden.

BIL is having no luck with cars. I blame it on his lack of a maintenance schedule beyond oil changes. His wife's Dodge Journey with the 2.4 multi-air now has a cylinder 3 misfire that makes it undrive-able. 135k miles, he's never changed the plugs or belts or battery or anything. The 06 GMC he borrowed from the FIL now has some mystery brake issue causing the brakes to stay engaged when he tries to take off after stopping rendering it almost undriveable. I'm afraid to let him borrow one of mine. He's cursed. We'll be compression testing the Dodge tomorrow, plugs and coil swap didn't change anything.

Can you at least get him to buy a Toyota or get an exorcism to help lessen his chances of problems?

When he bought the 2018 6.2 GMC he said he couldn't afford the bad gas mileage of the Tundra.

Nice! That looks like a WHOLE lot of tricky tree branches that you had to contend with? Especially if you don’t live out in a rural area where you can easily make them disappear with a gallon of gas and a match.

going this weekend to pick up a long block out of a wrecked Denali. $3800. Should be able to plug all of his accessories onto it and drop and go.

    I don’t see the advantage of a v4 unless it’s for a tiny car.

Same as an I4, but with more character. Makes sense for motorcycles though. All the moto gp bikes except yamaha are running v4's now.

That's the Vtec bike, isn't it? Also, they have an MT-10 for sale here in Amarillo.

    Screenshot_20240514_131820_Adblock Browser.jpg

Or an MT-09 in the color I like. This maybe better since I'm still kinda learning.
