Ours weren't so impressive in Montana...unless I missed the peak. The experience itself was great, but in terms of the actual aurora, I couldn't see any color. It only showed up in long exposure photos. We could see streaks of light across the sky, and it was really cool. But no color.

No luck last night. Our Arkansas friend was right. The stars were nice though.

Uhhh... hello. Wtf, am I chopped liver? I'm not a damn yankee.

I think @KNABORES may also listen across a spectrum of genres that may not necessarily add up in people's brains. I don't think he (or many other members here) are as deep into hip-hop as I was/am, but I'm also a music nerd. Granted, I go as deep on a lot of veins of non-pop country as hip-hop.

This seems like a decent deal. I've seen Lowes have a bunch of tools marked town this year.

    There's always FGT VOL

That Dewalt kit ... It came with the 20V unit the Facilities team at work gave me for shutting the office down. I gave it to my friend next door, since he has nothing but shit tools. After we purged the office, he has a shitload of pretty decent tools.

The bit kit itself looks good, nice they packaged it, but I found it to be lacking a bunch of stuff that's not obvious at first. I had to use it to tear down all kinds of stuff, and I remember going in and being, like, "WTF?! It doesn't have X? Ugh!" Then running to my personal stash to get bits. Annoying.

But do you enjoy pop country or trap music?

You know what country and hip hop have in common?
    1. They both get worse as the decades go on.

I don't like pop country, as I hinted at earlier.

Old school hip hop through the 90’s and a little into the 00’s was pretty good. Trap and mumble rap killed it for me. Aside from that, I listen to any music that’s good. Bluegrass, country, Americana, rock, alternative, folk, some punk, even some of the better Christian stuff. Radio country sucks ass these days too.

Is the lip of the box installed behind the finished wall or is supposed to install over it so that the cover will be flush? Is that a screw at an angle holding it in the bottom right corner but supposed to be in that bracket above? Also, wonder if that's to code with the wires not covered by a metal shield or conduit so close to the finished wall (like are those wires at almost the same depth of where finished wall would be in top right corner)?

    Rant incoming.

Road cyclists are bar none the most self centered inconsiderate assholes in all of the outdoor recreation.

I frequently encounter them on double yellow striped two lane roads. I give them plenty of space and Im happy to give them a minute or two to move over, but they never do.

Under Texas law they aren't required to use the shoulder, but that would be awfully fucking nice of them to use that 3-5' of pavement so I can pass without crossing a double yellow.

"A person operating a bicycle, if moving slower than traffic, shall ride as near as practicable to the right curb or edge of the roadway. Tex. Transp. Code § 551.103. By definition, roadway does not include the shoulder of the roadway. Tex. Transp. Code § 541.302."

    Also

"Sec. 545.053. PASSING TO THE LEFT; RETURN; BEING PASSED. (a) An operator passing another vehicle:

    (1) shall pass to the left of the other vehicle at a safe distance; and

    (2) may not move back to the right side of the roadway until safely clear of the passed vehicle.

    (b) An operator being passed by another vehicle:

    (1) shall, on audible signal, move or remain to the right in favor of the passing vehicle"

Riding two abreast, two feet off of the fog line, going 1/4 the speed limit and I'm supposed to "ShArE tHe rOaD"

I cant imagine acting so self righteous in any of the activities that I do.

    Fucking Dentists

Lol they only read the part of the laws they want to enforce. Like sport bikers, and I'm not sorry, any time i see an accident involving a cyclist I automatically put fault on the biker.

And anyone that doesn't like that statement it has been my experience the four times now that I've almost hit cyclists it was 100% their fault. Same with motorcyclists, 3 times now, whilst their fault. Either speeding, trying to pass illegally or trying to rush an intersection. For people with NO protection around them they surely don't think before they act

Hey, I just noticed these Powerstop 13WL are only $185 (+$80 core). I assume they’re identical to OEM and therefore don’t stack up remotely to the big brake kit (BBK) originally offered as an upgrade on the TRD eh? Just curious. I’ve been thinking about buying things I really don’t need ever since doing my pads. I think the red calipers would play off the Toytecs nicely stuffed behind my Methods and it’d be nice to refresh all the rubber and get a chance to rebuild and resell my low-mile OEMs.
