There isn't a source of water coming in. I'm on a slight downward grade with the downspouts angled to pour away from the foundation.

Anytime I go down there it's dry other than the humidity. I can access the full crawlspace as I can stand up in it for the most part. No inaccessible areas or actual crawling around.

That makes it a hell of a lot easier to deal with! Install should be a snap. Sucks when you've got to army crawl to install.

Spent about a month total under a 97 year old house last year. All new pex hot and cold water lines, gas line, and DWV plumbing. This shot is from the deepest area and kind of illustrates the how and why I ended up doing the work.

    20231216_114146.jpg
It was about a 40' army crawl from the crawlspace access to the work and I would pack in tools and materials a couple of trips at a time and then spend a few hours rolling around while I made connections and routed the lines laying on my back.

No moisture in this part of Texas so its like crawling around on the moon.

Luckily I'm a glutton for punishment and I actually enjoyed the shit out of it. Blasted some tool on the bluetooth speaker and dale napped while doing hole watch. 10/10 would suffer again.

That'd be a bad place to have a heart attack. But I'd do the work myself, if for only the fact laborers these days have proven to me repeatedly they can't do work as well as I'd do by myself.

There is really no shortage of hack's in the construction trades these days.

My plumber friend who roped me into this does killer work, but he is 6'5" 280lbs ish. He just couldn't fit

Sometimes I wonder when we’ll all be driving glass cars and living in glass houses much like the glass phones we talk/text into every day.

Look into a telematics device to bring down the rate if your insurance offers it.

They do and that's with driver training and good student discounts. Literally went up $1600/year.

Probably switching to Progressive for auto at least since they quoted me $1700 for everybody for the year.

The Chinesium LEDs in my a/c panel are taking a shit. Well at least the one that lights the fan speed knob. It's flashing as I'm driving down the road and pissing me off lol.

Time to order some better shit.

I went with Sylvanias, the ones with lifetime warranty. Speedy but I have an e-receipt so hopefully never need to buy another.

pretty sure you're going to need the 9 diamond to ship an airbag, even without the power source.

I ordered an airbag off eBay and it too didn't explode. Lol. Didn't have any special labels on the box that I can recall.

usually get away without. It's that more frequent these days time when the box gets damaged & they have to repack it & see the airbag & have mandatory reporting of an undeclared hazmat. Can't send it back, can move it on, if it went in an airplane government guys pay the shipper a visit...
USPS seems to let stuff go with the stickers. UPS is hit or miss. Fedex just destroys & misdelivers almost everything from @shifty` s experience. (that was you wasn't it?)

Anyone know storm windows? (think ((great))Grandma's house.)
It only seems to blow crazy when it's raining, so I never think to look when it's not raining, but some of the storm windows are rattling.
I'm guessing there are worn out brush strips, but anyone know what's the usual product to hold a storm window in its tracks tight (besides the pins at the top & the latches at the bottom)?

This is them after finishing - super bright due to no green condom: https://www.tundras.com/threads/wha...-gen-tundra-today.2558/page-1760#post-3390945

Sylvania has two LED bulb types. Standard LED, and "ZEVO" LED. I'm pretty sure all the ZEVO bulbs are both (A) non-polarity and (B) lifetime warranty. It says lifetime warranty on the box, but look for the ZEVO. "ZEVO 168" is what is used in the dash.

    https://www.amazon.com/B01A77S8TU

    scAmazon link ^^^

Auto Zone sells them too, just make sure you look for this on the box (and of course, the 168 in the corner ... but not 168B which is blue, 168A which is amber/orange, 168R which is red....)

I'm going to say this because I said it with the most recent oil filter test video.

I'm a Mobil1 guy through and through, but it's not lost on me, OEMs probably have oils crafted to whatever the engineers say is best for their specific platforms. It's the only reason I don't like this type of test.

Well shifty we all have our favorites bud. Its called personal preference. I have been using Mobil1 since I've been 15, and my dads used it the majority of his life as did my grand father. And i have been using Mann filters since forever. Are their better both out there sure, but ive had good luck with those brands so why switch. And thats how the vast majority of us do it. The only time I look for technically or mathmaticly better oils, fluids and filters is for my track car.
