the one my grandma's cousin had was fine for picking up limbs & toting the zero turn mower in for maintenance. Never really had to overload it, but the lights & axles were fine.

My father in law bought one about 20 years ago. The lights are awful, the bolt on tongue will loosen up I welded his a decade ago, the tailgate won't come off unless you cut the pin off and weld it on the opposite direction.

Back then you could pick one up for about $500 on sale.

No denying that a service body/camper combo has some great utility
    Utility Bed Truck with Camper1.jpg

They have the gears turning for my bed build. Needs more sexiness and less blockiness though.

Sight is just one element. Taste and smell are another. Can’t really google those for anything more than a consensus.

We've had a 10x6 single axle from them for like 30 years and it's still in great condition. But it's not one with a bolt on tongue or any other weirdness.

Edit: we did replace the lights and wiring twice I think

Speaking of welders - thought there might be another Amazon delivery oops. MIG TIG Plasma welding & cutting torch?
    IMG_20240317_155316727.jpg

But not to worry, plastic welding kit inside. The truck came with a small tear in the bumper cover, figured let me try to fix it.

Another day of yard work, another gift from the yard. Cellphone holder - looks like it lost it's clip.

    IMG_20240317_153459415_HDR.jpg

I didn't say they were particularly useful gifts, but I appreciate the yard appreciating my efforts.

Played shuffle trucks today. I need more driveway.

Here's me having to tow a 2WD up our hill. He(Boomhauer) tried for 10 minutes....

2WD is essentially useless here when we get snow. Hell, even a muddy yard and you might be SOL.

I definitely had my fair share of getting my prerunners stuck back in the day. Even with an e-locker. But the e-locker was definitely useful on rocky terrain like the deer lease and it was ok in mud or sand as long as you didn't stop lol

Mine got stuck in my yard one time. The grass was wet, I was moving stumps and other debris to my burn pile. The damn thing just spun its wheels and wouldn't go anywhere. I didn't want to pull it with the Ferd, as it two is a two wheel drive and having one truck stuck was embarrassing enough. LOL.

It was wet on Saturday when I looked under there. I need it to dry out a bit and poke my head back under. I'm hoping it's not leaking into the booster. I don't even know how to check that.

I will say I noticed it first on Friday making a beer run. Pedal went further than normal. After a few stops on Saturday it was gone by the time I got home.

Best case it's just a blown rubber line, should be easy to spot when its dry underneath. I have never had a booster or a master fail, but I'm not saying it doesn't happen. If the underneath doesn't hold any clues I would look there.

We got snow a couple of times in DFW. Maybe not so common south of Austin, but ...
