My dad used to run a custom wood furniture company. Most of what he built was dining room and conference tables, some up to 16ft long. On many occasions we'd carry boards, beams, or even tabletops with them rested on the corner of the cab and the tailgate. Strapped down real good. Only fell off once.

No pic, but i got a bunch of 24’ 2x8 for my fascia, on the rack though. I regularly carry 16’ and occasionally 20’ 2x8. I love the rack, before i got it moved over from my T100 i was at a loss for a couple weeks, felt like half a truck.

I had a liftmaster in mine. Some little Lego pieces made it work ok but it was never awesome.

Gentex is the way to go. No question. Then switchpros in that spot.

Today I completed building a mini Weber Smoky Mountain or mWSM. It’s a small vertical charcoal smoker made from a Weber Smokey Joe and a 32 quart steamer pot. I built one of these about 15 years ago, but had to leave it behind (along with a bunch of other stuff) when we moved to Texas due to lack of space on the U-Haul. I love smoking on this thing and have missed it. I’m going to enjoy it again. I have a Masterbuilt electric vertical smoker, MES30 that I purchased when we moved here, but it’s not been the same. Here’s a link to this build https://www.virtualweberbullet.com/smokey-joe-mini-wsm-project/

a ramp really needs to be longer than a truck bed. I've got an 8' ramp & have to use a ditch or a curb to load the bike.

Well poop. After tearing through all my parts boxes over the last 2 days, come to find out my fancy dance party lights didnt come with extra plugs. So in the meantime, i'm gonna skip the blinker function & just make em work as 3rd brake lights.

but, if i were to cut the wires to seperate em, how could i have em operate as brake/turn, but still have em switched to aux? Dont wanna backfeed power through the 4 pin. Do i need a diode or something?
