We did. Battery was struggling, had to slap the charger on it. We did 5 or 6 cycles without ignition to pump the oil pressure up before starting it. we wiped all the cylinders down with oil numerous times while the engine was out and open. All the valve train had assembly lube slathered on it. Fuel system had to purge a little.

My scamazon order was supposed to be delivered by 10pm today. Looks like the driver said fuck it and ended their shift early. Package returned to carrier facility at 8:54pm.

Kind of wondering if I should keep the parent’s encyclopedia collection or toss it?

Could be invaluable if the apocalypse comes and the internet goes down indefinitely.

They have that old mildewy smell from sitting in the basement, so maybe go.

They'll usually tell you, "Wait 24-48 hours, and if still not there, we'll cancel and refund" (i.e. "FUCK YOU")

Mildew spreads by spores. Mildew roots deeply into paper and you can't get rid of it, once humidity hits a certain point, they'll be reinvigorated and start sporing. Dump them.

Can't wait for that day. Suddenly my value will increase tenfold overnight. It'd be a nice paradigm shift in the world, where people who CAN are suddenly more valuable than those who HAVE. I'm sure a lot of us here on this forum, resourceful as we are, would be running shit.

Rear wheel bearings? Just bite the bullet at get oem, I got mine for 61$ a pop, it’s worth the extra to not have to deal with it again for a long while. One side was growling on a trip, and we changed the other side when we did the gear install

Tried to when the sale was on but order wouldn't go through. Heard its SKF grw-248 in the box and mostly the SKF retainers way cheaper that others had success with but maybe that's false economy. Definitely OEM on the seals. But OEM on everything (except tone ring) isn't really that expensive for this repair.

I’d get pulled over so fast. They throw as tall as a 2 story house and feels like half a football field to each side of the truck. Haha

12 ft of snow in Cali. Insane. Probably great for those holed up in nearby Tahoe waiting to ski.

That’s about their only redeeming feature. Unless you’re buying a Google pixel, you’re usually getting a lot of bloatware to go with it.

LEDs came in today. Fog lights look good. PO had installed those fancy halogen 9006 with blue glass and I had installed Linex yellow vinyls over the lenses. Light output was still not impressive, or yellow enough for me.
Now it's super yellow and brighter.

Also I don't know how, but I already misplaced the neo wedge LEDs that came in the same package today. I need em to replace my P light on the dash. I don't know how I already lost em haha. I looked every where

Nah - he gave it to me.

Looked out the front door & saw an Amazon package on the porch. Thought it odd since I didn't order anything. Got the package & the address part of the label was ripped off. Tried to track the Amazon trk # to no success. Did a chat w/ Amazon customer service - they told me they'd credit the customer - no problem, thanks. I asked to have driver come back - no. Tell me which house number? - No. They told me to keep it or donate it, don't worry the customer would get a credit.

It was a heavy lump of clunking metal. Decided to open the package thinking there might be a packing slip - nope. just a brand new Chinese "cross ship trailer hitch receiver" whatever that is. Haven't opened the inner box. Don't need any trailer stuff, but thanks Amazon?
