Right, I can find the part no prob. I’m more asking these two questions:

Does the grill insert from the earlier Sequoias (pre-DC Tundra years) fit on the old chrome bumper Tundras? (Anyone ever tried it?)

Has anyone seen someone on here or TS or other places where an AC/RC truck with the lat model plastic bumper tried using that Sequoia bumper filler/brow piece? I’m guessing the headlight shape is slightly different so it won’t work, but it actually looks strangely like a good fit otherwise.

I’ve always had an itch to move to the older style grille, but using the newer style plastic bumper. It’d look cool as hell, I think.

I doubt someone’s tried it. Plus the Tundras plastic piece above the chrome bumper is straight and makes me want to think it wouldn’t work.

    I’m following I’m just retarded.

Do it, do it, do it.

Also @Mr.bee still needs to find a Land Cruiser or LX470 front clip in a junkyard to bolt up to his Tundra.

    For science.

Something is seriously wrong there. I've had mine since 2019 and abuse em, without issues. Now you got me thinking about going outside with a flashlight and checking mine haha

Oh no, you don't get codes? Here, here's another RockAuto discount code especially for you, so you don't feel left out. They told me to give this to you, they feel bad.

    Code: 259642087231829747

Using your discount code is easy! Enter your discount code in the 'How Did You Hear About Us?' box without any other numbers or characters for an additional 5% savings. Discounts cannot be applied to shipping, gift certificates, or to an order once it is marked as shipped.

Your code expires on March 29, 2024, 12:00 Midnight CT, so do not wait!

I swear I saw something like that while I was browsing Tundras on Craigslist the other day. Enough that I did a double take... and surmised that they had put a newer front clip on but retained the rounded grill. If I can find the pics I'll post them.

They're always out there. If you don't get them just a web search is all you need. RetailMeNot is a pretty decent site for all kinds of discount codes.

It was 58° when I got to work at 730am now it's 32° at 5pm.

Tomorrows high is 29°, Friday is 51°. It's been a real weird winter.

He got them around when they released, but I think I recall seeing other instances on the GX pages. No it's a pretty well taken care of truck. I'd say he's done about 1/4 of off roading that I've done in the past year so abused would be out of question. Throttle happy, but not slamming the bumps consistently like I do.

I can't imagine it's remotely good for anything having 90° temp swings. Totally nuts. At least over here we're only swinging from 76° dow to a high of 47° on Friday.

I feel like almost every winter over the last 10 years has been weird. Basically since our kids were born. We grow a lot of food on our little postage stamp lot, and have been for over two decades. Blew it off at first. But it went from occasional blips to all over the damn map.
