Hence why I like working directly with a local dealership. Don't have to worry about stuff like that quite as much.

Is that a superbump I see? I thought I was the only one. Everybody seems to like durobumps, but I got my superbumps for free on Black Friday 5 years back.

    Unrelated non tundra question:

what might cause dash lights to go dark after 15 minutes of driving, then come back on a few minutes later? Headlights stay on, and theres no flicker. Probably not led ('02 focus). Could a switch do that? It didnt do it while i was there, but has done it 2 days in a row within about 3 miles of each other.

Back when I bought these super bumps they were the only option and several members here were already running them on 1st gens.

I just learned about another company that makes bump stops for our trucks.

Check the dimmer switch. On my T100 it malfunctioned and I had no dash lights. Instead of replacing it, I made a jumper, so I couldn't dim the lights anymore, but they worked.

The dash light dimmer in our 2000 Civic is doing the same thing, but not correlating with any time driving. Just kinda works when it wants to

Older rheostat style dimmer switches are subject to dust infiltration that prevents solid contact. Good call.

Right. But in this case couldn't save extra $200-300 with the 25% sale only available elsewhere. Get what need immediately from local, but they don't discount and sometimes even charge more than retail by adding a shipping fee when ask for something not in stock ... yet can get overnight. More often use another that's about 150 miles away and can ships parts at about 30% off to arrive in 2-3 days.

I had replace mine maybe 6 months ago. I think is was $250 from Toyota. It was an ungodly high price for such a small item

When I first got my truck the dimmer knob was broke clean off. I actually was able to drill and screw on one of these Furniture Feet Glides... again ghetto AF but I wasn't paying that ridiculous price!

The email I got today shows what looks like a tracking # but no link. It doesn't work on UPS, FedEx or USPS. Did UPS deliver yours?
