My super duper decoder ring is wondering about how to interpret this statement.

I already knew, but always give a way out. Never thought I’d see the day when Americans protested good factory jobs coming back versus off-shoring. Derangement Syndrome is real!

    Some junk
I do find it hilarious that our tundras are pretty much American made. Some people still refer to them as Japanese. The company certainly has Japanese roots, but if I recall from reading door stickers around 2005, they stated something like 75% materials from North America and assembled in the USA. Kinda neat.

I think the 3rd gen is still
The most American made truck you can buy.

My engine was made in Japan buy the truck was assembled in Canada. Not much American to it. I would honestly prefer the entire thing made in Japan.

I do NOT want an American made truck.

They made first gen tundras in Canada? I thought they were all from the Princeton Indiana plant

My truck says on the door sticker it was made in Canada. Same with our 2012 Rav4.

LMAO. We're all over the place. No one knows. I'll check when I get home but I'm almost positive it was made by @Outbound 's cousins.

Maybe not Texas, but definitely the USA. I just double checked and the plate inside the door jamb says Made In USA and my VIN begins with 5.

VIN numbers beginning with 1, 4 or 5 were made in the USA. 2 was made in Canada and beginning with J is made in Japan.

Run your VIN through here and find out.

That's where Toyota Motor Corp is registered/headquartered I believe. Look below the barcode. Gimme a min, I'll get a pic.

Oh, yeah you're right. For some reason I thought they had HQ in Indiana before Texas.

Either way, still made in the US and not Canuckistan. :D

Well, you boys are right as usual. I have no idea why I thought the Tundra was Canadian. Only the Rav4 is. Tundra was made in Indiana.
