Interesting. But does not appear to be a removable rock ring, just redneck bling. Ugh. Otherwise it checks most of my boxes. 17x9 (close enough to 17x8), 106mm bore, -18mm offset, $200/wheel

Finally got around to manually tuning my baofengs. Simplex. Still don't know what I'm doing, but these radios are cool AF. Lots to learn, and plenty of time on turd shift to tinker. They do work as two way coms now, which is good, and they work as regular FM radio. Pretty dope

Meh, cost too much anyhow. They’re really quite proud of their wheels it seems.

I’d let em go for $140/ea but you gotta at least make it to Birmingham AL. I’ll drive up to two hours from ATL for a handoff. Maybe put in an order for in-store pickup at Serra Toyota, and I’ll meet you there?

I mean, they cost as much as Methods.
But in general, I would agree.

I personally think it's worth it, but only if that's the wheel you like the most. In a few years, you won't look back and regret spending more to get what you want. We're about to remodel our master bath and I'm telling my wife the same thing. Don't compromise just to save a little money because we're going to be in the house a while.

Yup. That's ultimately how I landed on those Racelines. I was choking on what Method was asking per-wheel. And now I have $1,200 in wheels, with 4 having double-digit miles, and I'll barely be able to offload them for half.

On the upside, I'll never have a "what if?" thought in my head. And had I not at least given the Racelines a chance, I may've had second thoughts about the current shoes. You never know.

Bottom right for me as well! Anybody noticed hats seem to be huge these days? I’m talking the top part of them. Feel like I can keep a spare set of seat covers under them. Or am I just an old man yelling at clouds?

Man, this is a nice looking rust-free 2WD w/o ABS that's just screaming to be lowered.

I notice that too and I rarely wear hats partly because of that.

I have the same feelings about hats. It's part of the reason I haven't worn anything but the Nike Campus Cap for like 15 years.

I also hate the fitted hats but also the plastic snap so there's a limited amount of hats available with the sliding buckle.

My better 3/4 doesn't understand why I have half a dozen of the same hat in various shades. And the stupid part is, it's a hat that Home Depot was giving out as a promo thing. But it doesn't fit like the tallboy trucker hats, so I love it.

Nobody wants to look like this guy, hiding a 1gal milk jug under your lid.

That's what drives me crazy about SCS. They never have enough inventory. Just last night I was pricing the two wheels I like from them. BR6 and SR8. They both show a pic of this sick gold color, yet neither even have em listed as an option. The options they do have, some are greyed out. And then when you choose another color and try to put a set of 5 (or whatever number) into your cart, some only have 1 fucking unit available.

True, Price jumps up quite a bit for true bead-locks in most brands. I just picked up a set of 17 x 7.5 FJ cruiser steelies ..... 5 wheels for $100. Going to have them as a second set for thrashing............

I don't need real beadlocks. I'm really not even a fan of the rock ring look. But I'm coming around to it as a means to an end, if the rock rings are replaceable. Because my wheels now are getting chewed up by rocks when I go off-roading, and I was to go up from 16" to 17".

Agreed. Their business model is strange. Maybe intentional to drive up price and demand?

Remind me, are you stuck on 17's because you want the option of the big brake mod? That's a good reason, but the only reason I can think of. If you're building your truck for off-road, meat > metal.
